Premium Member Writers Ache To See and Be Seen
Listen to poem:
Poets like social butterflies,
try to get out, to see and be seen
To hear and recite
To post and 'got mail' replies
But word-smithing is a soul alone
    depositing to a vast agglomeration
always on the stove, brooding and bubbling away....

Serving Her Majesty
monarch lays her eggs
                     the milkweeds her nursery
                         and I her nursemaid

this morning, depositing her seeds of gold....

Premium Member God Is Good
Goodness doesn't always inspire,
Or worth too much in the world's desire
Despite its benevolent attire.

Its value is stored as treasure,
Stacked up like gold per heaven's measure.

Goodness is for you to spend
On earth, like a gardener tends
Overflowing vines and flowers,
Depositing seed for God's eternal bowers....

A joint account of love

You asked, we to open, my darling

An idea, I certainly applauded

With all my soul’s might

But

To my dismay soon realized

That the only one depositing was I

While you, always amounts withdrew

Till all was gone, then you took a hike!

My Muse
A midsummer night in my sentiment
my muse arose depositing poetry at task,
with way of pen—my contemplation
obtaining shape,
my face against the wind,
my essence engaging in words realigning,
together with stillness of reason
and spirit unconfined,
mysterious language assembles,
selected in the same way
as a trusted friend,
with my muse, I write....

it wasn’t the measured meanness nor the pig blood nor the rampage of Carrie’s revenge but the quiet walk to the graveyard depositing flowers remembering the saint...forgetting the maelstrom § § § § § as the grub-filled hand erupts through the soil to impale one more victim. the grave has no conscience. 10/31/2019

Ocean Walk
under a delightful moon
air silvermist due to drizzling rain
  a pale patina rode wavetops
              of the mystic sea

creamy waters washed across my feet
depositing opaline conchs, whelk egg cases
and bits of purple fan coral
  oceanic generosity
          fueled my thankfulness
      as the horizon's apricot blush
                  announced sunrise...

Sweat
Sweat and the sea are salty
and alike.

A lazy man and a corpse
never sweat.

Mountaineers mount up the
slithery mounts.
Resistance yields, dissolving
in sweat.
Seeds sprout in the fallen beads,
life-drops.

Success floats in sweat, depositing
fresh joys.

Each victory in the history sparkles
through sweat.

Green Grass
Hard boiled egg shell dyed
Decorated with pastells and crayons
double dip for a richer color
Festive

Little feet running and searching
Baskets overloaded
Depositing candy along the way
Bunny hopscotch, ring toss
Bendy bunny, bunny ink pens
Carrot pick up sticks
Egg shaped chocolates

Remember the everlasting life
Remember the blood and
Remission of sins
Remember you must be born again....

Melodies of Jazz
Melodies of trombones
Flutes and trumpets
Masquerading in the
Moonlight of passion
Fingers strumming
Rhythmically across
My nipples
Crescendo rising as
Your tongue enters
Inside of me
Flashes of light
Energy surging throughout
My thick frame
Dancing harmoniously
We become one fused
With the polyrhythm of
Acid jazz
Simultaneously depositing
Our sexual eruptions
Into each others
Mouths…...

Beatbox of a Satanist
Is the occultist aware she’s daring,
That she carries the shadiest orifice?
No.
She just defecates and scars remain.

Akin to the likes of an unmarketable comedian:
passion on one side, narcissism on the other.
‘Twas unforeseen.

Enemies working together,
Exchanging callous banknotes.

No one had foreseen this.

Eventually, she’ll cripple
from depositing and withdrawing.
But no one knows.
No one can ever know....

Settling
The headline read: “Low deposits and fair repayments!”
The offer of a lifetime, the promise of a lifeline for you and those you love.
But “deposits” aren’t just in money when we’re low in depositing care,
“repayments” still reek of capitalism when many don’t see their “fair” share.
The advertisement seared in bold font and burning lettering,
reminding us to always want more – there’s nothing worse than settling....

Premium Member Dusk
As dusk dims a cobalt sky, stars unveil their timid light. And a sanguine sun feigns death as shadows morph into night. Clouds gather into a shroud edged in magenta and gray. And night's curtain slowly drops, announcing the end of day. Merging with body and soul, myth and reality meet. And depositing dewdrops, moist breezes offset the heat. Creatures of dusk awaken in a world that's very still. For silence is its loudest when wildlife bends to its will.
