densely,
with your nature,
identify it before you do!...

Fog
Frogs singing in the darkness,
invisible to me,
fog densely drifting
'cross the land
causing shadows to form
in the corners of my mind....

Love
host-like, ghost-like
it comes through the walls
densely, immensely
a creeping fog
forming, storming
it controls my thoughts
stealing, unyielding
before it's gone...

Delirium
Delirium delves deeply
Deeply dense
Derivatively dying
Dancing deliriously
Driving deeply densely

Happily hastily
Honeyed homeliness

Lying loneliness
Levitating loveliness

Delirium doubly
Dealing deftly deathly
Deeply delving deliriously....

Shadows Densely Cast
David J Walker

How soon the night begins to call
Fall is falling fast

Shadows thinly passing all
Daylight dwindles past

A crusted moon
a ragged ball

auric emblems last
Hold your breath

against a death
shadows densely cast...

Nostalgia
In the nostalgic group islands
It assembles the past to run
Its beauty never stops
Never your tears restraint of falling apart
A chain of islets embraced by serene water
Crystalline white nothing could bet
Its persona densely adheres.

My Endless Night By Candlelight
When all seems
dark and troubled

And the wind
is blowing fierce

When the sun
is covered densely

And its light
can’t break or pierce

When the world’s
in endless gloom

And it lays
in the thick of night

I could run to the
heart of your very soul

And live……
by candlelight...

Footsteps
footsteps that falter
loosing the path
tripping and falling
in loves abyss
growing softer
slipping away
echoing sounds
from the trail where they strayed

no circling back
on this road I travel
nothing to grab
as it all unravels
in this forest
densely overgrown
I forge ahead
into the unknown...

Bougainvillea
One corner house in my street,
Where grows sepal like
Lovely, light, bougainvillea
Spread like a white sheet.

Overflows upon the compound wall
Attracts each and every passersby
Densely, bounty bougainvillea
is like a creamy froth about to fall.

On this brightly white flowers
Insects creep, dew settles, twinkles flash
 Adding glow to rich bougainvillea
Like a touch of sea breeze on cold hours....

One Flew Over
I knew an old buffoon quite the gloomy poltroon who through a stormy monsoon flew his hot air balloon and among the Walloon and Flemish much to their surprise did not meet his demise but with neither a blot not a jot nor blemish at all on hand in the small 6-Government densely populated parliamentary constitutional monarchy 3-language country of Belgium safely did crash land

Premium Member Bluebell Woods
Where hazel bushes mix with sturdy oaks
and beech trees densely grow in shades of green
the fairy flowers come in early spring
attired in clothes of violet-blue sheen.
The swathes of bluebells, like a sheet unrolled
before our eyes, breathtaking to behold!

Musings
Musings

You manifest with your musing within my heart, Feel you densely when I am alone or miles apart. Misty eyed I am when I think of you and gasp for my breath, You were within me even when I laughed at death….. Choking on my past and drawing strength from realities of before, Falling prey to the icy claws of hope, my dreams, they devour. You continue to manifest within me…………. There is the whole of you in every bit of me…………

Delight
Dappled sunlight on emerald leaves,
Rhododendron trusses painted in rainbows.
Daffodil ablaze in golden glory,
Roses dipped in dark burgundy.

Garden of beauty a temptation to all,
Vivid colours crying out to be adored.
Gently descending floating on the breeze,
Vibrant shades of azure adorn her wings.

Delight to the world a thing of beauty,
Resting motionless amidst a rainbow.
Densely clustered petals her throne,
Resplendent in the mottled light. ...

Taught Nought
I was taught to be friendly
to speak when spoken to
not to treat people densely
that's what you're supposed to do

People don't do that often
they act as if you're not there
or words they need to soften
it's burdensome for one to bare

Maybe things are not the same
as they used to be
for to reciprocate would aim
what they prefer to flee

I'll continue talking when it's brought
to the attention of someone's ear
for they were taught nought
and need to acknowledge and adhere...
