Society
How does a healthy rose with grown thorns
Take the time out of their day
To degrade a decayed rose without any thorns
For having to grow up in poisoned soil
That the planter so willingly decided to bury them in?...

Mighty Machine '04
Built to be unbroken.
Left to rust.
Stand tall machine,
Stand tall and strong.
As rivers from raindrops pour,
You stand as if you cry.
Unchanged,
Until the seasons erode you,
Explore and degrade you.
Poor machine,
Daddy doesn't need you....

Down
As dark is grey
flickering toward neither,
my empty holes
poor without meaning.
Hung between two nothings
I degrade under everything.
Let the whisperer kill me
in my sleepy eyes,
I want only resolution
that either will distaste.
As I am
useless...

Premium Member By Witch Trial
Apply all those misconceptions,
by witch trial I am burned alive;
Cry out but cut off with a snuff,
try as I might I can’t survive;

Phrase used just to degrade me,
always the one who never quite fit;
Flyaways land where they need to,
displays karma of my eternal spirit....

Endless Cycle of Disorientation
Us humans usually degrade people’s actions,
Until we find ourselves following the same actions of those people.
It starts from just a
“What can they possibly be depressed about? We’re young.”
Then we find ourselves in the mirror.
Low eyes,
Weary clothing,
Messy hair,
Disoriented.
Then, people degrade us next.
Sooner enough, we degrade ourselves....

Premium Member Fire and Water
the fire hydrant comes handy
first and fore most it saves lives
but to walk a dog in the city
it's a place of choice
better than the lamp post
and a tree we leave alone

as on a leash I am directed
to do my business in a jiffy
and always a piece of paper
as it degrade and never a plastic bag
to reach the next garbage can
she is so crazy but I love her...

Fall the Night
Fall the night upon me dark
Naked born this journey embark
Of friend or foe as yet unknown
Time will tell in deeds be shown

In shadow times when virtue fades
Within a soul love does degrade
All around in greed and pain
A girded heart with taut refrain

Fall the night upon me dark
Tend this weak eternal spark
Battle scarred and scarlet stain
Upon this hallowed ground remain...

Premium Member A Road Map
A Road Map Written: by Miracle Man 2-11-2019 Don't verbally degrade or use falsehood, And let negative thoughts remain unsaid. Utter no vow that you can't make good, And remember the blood that Jesus shed. Jesus left mankind with this mandate, Not to slander or succumb to libel. But strive each day, HIM, to emulate, By letting life's road map be the bible.

Premium Member Ruling Over People
The aim of ruling over others,

Should be the desire of helping them elevate their

Consciousness, to higher levels of understanding,

As well as, higher standards of living

And

Not to degrade them to groups of lesser beings and

Of poverty

Thus

Whoever wishes to rule must learn how to rule

Himself first!

The Play of the Bad
oh no, not another one!
where is my relief - respite
from the intolerable?

locks in love
lustful companions
twist their eyes
glare their gaze
all towards my aura

abolish this devil's droplet
the one in my heart
un lodge the claw
curled in my sinew

spasm this pollution
into desolation
harden it's hardship
degrade its rape

finish it once and for all
for i cannot again
fall...

Afraid
I lay here feeling so betrayed
It feels like I've been cut with a blade
Opened up to be displayed.
Why did I let you stay?
Why do I have to fade?
Because of the lack of choices made
You left me here to degrade
I'm undeniably dismayed
I can't believe I'm delayed,
By everything you portrayed.
I can't believe I let you invade,
My life and my brain feels so weighed
Frayed, decade, it's all a cherade
You left me here so afraid....

Misty Day
Today the mist rules, stolen horizon
in a merge of sea and dank air, sky
confiscated, parcelled in a grey
patination like macular degrade.

Fields and village prematurely aged
to lie in a state of transience,
shrouded in mourning funereal garb
fashioning weighted reverend silence.

Even the rising tide treads quiet
in its take as the pacing frill
of frothed surf whispers a rhythmic lullaby
to the drowsing day beneath its blanket....

Hit the Lights
Call my name from the fog
Look at my reflection
 Through the looking glass
And watch myself degrade.

Hit the lights
I can't bear to see
It burns my soul
for eternity

The pause button is frozen
Life is my sacrifice
The play button is broken
fast forward to my demise.

Catch a smile
savour it for a while
Melancholy is a life style
you're not worthwhile, bottom of the pile.

Dominate your stance
Steal a glance
out of your trance
Fragment this dance....

Loneliness
Lies within oneself take a toll on the spirit.
Our minds degrade us, takes away any merit.
Never do we realize the loneliness we shape.
Eventually we blame others, with solitudes rape.
Lack of love for us, others, takes control.
I have seen sadness, rip up others soul.
Never underestimate the voices you may hear.
Each of us hears, some do not let them steer.
Sadness can become a disease, within a heart.
Solitude can be destroyed, right from the start....

Heaven For Sale One Careful Driver
Wonder if God deleted itself
if i was God
i would create aliens
just to mess with believers
Stand in front of scientists and artists
as they battle art with invention
vying for superior attention
and saying
softly
i made you
If this is the practice
where is the play
never bent my head in prayer
you would know
if you were there
Never try to degrade your choice
but even faithless have a voice
hope is sometimes never seen
even in a dream
And charity passes
by...

Premium Member We Celebrate the Flag
We Celebrate the Flag
By Franklin Price
6/14/2016

We celebrate the flag today
Long may it wave above
It represents the U.S.A
The country that we love

Fly it proudly, fly it high
Don't let it touch the ground
Honor and salute it
As long as you're around

Those who would degrade it
Bring dishonor to its name
Do not deserve to live here
To respect it's not a game

Many died to keep it
Flying o'er this land we love
It represents the “who” we are
Long may it wave above...
