having no recourse
to reward and punishment?

Would we still exist, love, and share joy?
With no social control or design?...

Explodes bloody carnage down into the street.
Wallets and windows fly, smoking and smashed.
Marrow and metal land, mangled and mashed.
Fragments in coffins, sealed soft in this earth.
Prayers pronounce endings too soon after birth.
Witness the mothers, who shriek names and weep,
Then credit the Devil. His hands need no sleep....

And brother unlike brother contend
To debase your hunger, and no relent
To snatch at grace when all offend
You met him trembling in his wide fear
Submitting all he thought you wanted
And gave him hugs, kisses, and your tear
Who did the birth priesthood supplanted
So let me be constant when met again
With barren thy ridicule, no virtue is vain...

As the silence of dawn overtakes me,
the wind whispers gently in my face.
Unknown are things that might cause glee,
but also those things that might debase.

But I’ll take each thing just as it comes,
knowing for all things God has a reason.

Karma one day we all must face.
For judgement day we now should brace.
Our collective greed  -  a disgrace.
Clever, we were thinking we’re ace.
But Mother Nature we debase
And pollute the whole of the place
Then try to cover up the trace.
We now are in a reckless race
As mammon we always embrace.
We are now running out of space
So that wildlife we must displace.
But sadly we cannot replace.

in the corner of an empty room.
That face: encased
reached up knowing it's place.
With lips sublime
and eyes that shine.
You left,
feeling blindly in this cleft.
For that night,
dawn-less with bitter bite.

Coming down,
am I to be your clown?
From debase in utter haste,
I want to climb, 
to stars that are mine.
Bereft of love:
the mood moves deft.
Within this plight
in the darkest of night:
I withdraw to tomb,
darkened as womb.

Is the flowing rushing in...or,
is the flowing rushing out?

Are we returning to where it all begins,
or is it the consequence of doubt,
if an altered state is out of place
positioning one in the wrong period,
false impressions may debase
sequential are the myriad...

They say,lie with dogs you get their fleas,
it's not the dog you should be concerned...
you never know, 
what kind of disease lies within' the flea.
