i quit the "rat race" when they told me i had to by tiny track shoes for them.

My dear cousin, when in her thirties got a brain tumor. Her first thoughts after coming home were that she realized the “rat race,” she had been in. She could not return to work. She has been good for many years after and likes to help out, like in soup kitchens… She lost peripheral vision on one side. Love your quips!
