Dad,
why is the white skin on your capitalist legs
so dry?

Well,
I got older...
Damn,
I knew that would happen
if I continued breathing!

Anyway,
and I also forgot
to apply my cooperative lotion this morning,
and maybe warmly competitive yesterdays...
Damn,

To Never Learn
Sodom and Gomorrah
their tale retold
Ignoring scripture
the world grown cold
Semitic factions
that seek and kill
Their hate on fire
their rage instills

Sodom and Gomorrah
two faiths subscribe
The Quran and Bible

On the Way Home
The times when the way home is too long,
And the duty's journey is too slow
And the memory that flashes is too wrong,
A distance measured in eternal sorrow..
Along the way some familiar places
Where time can't alter its own fractions
Where darkness can't cover the spaces;
The library of damnations.

Much as I want to refuse
This world so owns me
This world has the right to abuse;
Mine is the night,to sleep is to be free.

MY SUNDAY BEST

No swearing at the priest on my way to church
Or, it will be 3 Hail Mary’s, and the Devil’s curse
No damnations; of God, within my poetic verse
Or, that will be another 3 Hail Mary’s, far worse
No negativity; only things pleasing to converse
Or it'll cost me a penny into the church’s purse
Holy crap No wonder I find Sunday so perverse
