Hide and Seek of Falling Leaves
1. Leaves play hide and seek
With the wind in jaunty piles
     Of crisp rustling glee

2. Leaves playing tag with
The wind hide in playfull soft
       Cushioned joyfullness...

Golden Sands
Hands twirled
The magical wand
Feet skimmed
Over the golden sands
A celestial sojourn
My butterfly was born
Draped in colours
She cushioned my feet
So long
I'm homeward bound-

Morning Light
Morning light seeping in
Like a wisp of a breath
In winters frigid air

Spectrum of silver light
Like sunlit cushioned clouds
Against paper-like walls

And shadows disappear
Quick, like snakes tunneling...

A Cup of Coffee Most Enjoyed
Every day my first cup of coffee is most enjoyed
sitting alone in a cushioned chair on my lanai
when all the thoughts and ideas with which I toyed
seemed like logical solutions to world crises, then I
wondered why no one really gave a fig....

Sand sprinkled crest of dust daubs
but there cushioned azures
lives magic swirled in cotton soft
Where lines and dots
imagination caught

Where spurts of red drags you from

Come Summer
All my shadows fall
into the summer
My berry kissed lips
call you

We fall so hard
when winter returns
My red eyes cry
for you

A cushioned blow came
on autumn ground
My mind tried to
forget you

Last rites bluntly read
upon spring's bed
I will not live
without you...

Premium Member Winter Magic
I beheld amidst the baleful sky,
a single snowflake falling gently
startling white against the slaty gray.

The crystal alit with cushioned sigh
upon your lips and sat contently;
you, too cold for it to melt away.

Rested long upon that ruby scar
did that winter's magic falling star....

Cheetah
Creeping up stealthily,
cushioned claws
cautiously gain ground.
Claws retract, amber eyes
covet the prey,
concentration heightens and the
chase begins.

Breath Taken
Breath taken I gaze, no words for this

Those eyes of auburn, like rare stones

I could be lost in such eyes, forever

As I sink inwards, falling inwards

Enveloped by a grace, a feeling

Of completeness, oneness

I am left surrounded by love

Cushioned in passion

Free at last

Here I am
a pin-cushioned thumbtack
stuck in my ways
like a stick in the mud
or a telephone pole
obstructing the gorgeous view
of a T-Mobile tower
flapping my wires
            &
watching the crows
pass me over on by.

Sleep and imagine
Precision
Cushioned sleep
A soul to keep
Journey into the hidden mystery
Perhaps a theory
Open door
A dream to explore
Possibilities angle
A could into would
Hope in should
Magical behind the subconscious mind
Expectation
Observation
The dream’s presentation
Expect the unexpected
Just believe...

Premium Member Warm Sand Delights My Bare Feet
palm tree fronds barely moved
it was balmy, but not humid
the surf gentled herself with delicate lapping sounds
warm sand delighted my bare feet

I slid down into the cushioned lawn lounger
my eyes closed, the Oahu air kissed my cheeks
I was taken instantly to lah lah land
where there is no suffering or pain, preview of heaven...

Our Lips, Our Eyes, Our Love
The thick plush carpet piled high
     It cushioned our backs
We fell to the floor, embraced in a kiss

It seemed an eternal kiss
And there was nothing else in the world
Just our lips, our eyes, our love

As the hours transpired
     Oblivious to time
We greeted the dawn and forged a memory
To live in our hearts, forever...

Secrets
Secrets sail
 drifting, flying
 hitching a ride
 cushioned and cossetted
 safely tucked
 among clouds of innocence
 longings float
 hidden
 and
 unblessed
 as lonely wind
 The salve of time
 gratefully pushes
 his silent Hobos
 tumbling bittersweet
 toward the ecstacy of
 nothingness.
 Listen.
Do you hear a fading heartbeat on the breeze -...

Rome
Destroy moral bounds
Distill the damnation
Produce temporary soothes
Attention deficit deathtrap
Empires made of scrap
Mass media’s contagious
Meant to enslave us
Distracting virus
Never silence
Radio waves
Devils communicate
Observe and contemplate
Wire made noose
Have eyes only for you
Gently rest your neck
Pine sided bed
Cushioned from toe to head...

Tasting a cup of hot chocolate and vanilla brew
Slumber in a cushioned and quilted mattress
Pleasures that rebound in a titillating sensation
Compared with receiving a lovable caress

Seeing the unexpected presence of a dear one
Smiling with your friends anecdote tales
Lend a helping hand without any interest
Memories that stay in your mind for decades

The River's Lyrics
Though they thought it didn't matter,
fate would soon decry its loss,
those who stroked the raven's wing,
cushioned by the verdant moss.

They who spun the silken fibers,
iridescent shades of blue,
molten silver coursing downward,
hissing through the morning dew.

He whose gray eyes knew their essence,
he who flew on velvet wings,
when the final toll was taken,
wrote the lyrics rivers sing....

Liquid Embrace
Rain drops as they flow down the wet locks
Clinging to the softness of her skin
Remain mesmerized blushing deeply;
Crushed tormented within the grasping arms.

Lips in faint quivers explore moments
Spreading warmth to our cushioned embrace
Melting each heart to the others touch
Oblivious of the cold surroundings.

Hold me clasped swaying in your joys of love;
I seek comfort in your craving warmth....

Fall and Its Flurry
fall and Its flurry of colors
delight me in so many ways,
watching the leaves drift
to the ground is a reminder
that the season will soon
be over and to enjoy the
daily event before my eyes
in awe of the miraculous
wonder under as I walk upon
a wooded path covered by
the softness of its blanket
of leaves making my steps
cushioned against their layers,
a way for them to say goodbye
until next year...

Hollow Morn'
morning light seeps in
like a wisp of a breath
in winters frigid air

spectrum of silver light
like sunlit cushioned clouds
against paper thin walls

as shadows quickly
appear: rush to these paper walls
like tunneling snakes

light brims golden,
spattering dewdrop fields-
glittering jewels

their moistening of
blades bending to the winds
echoing a hollow morn'...

Premium Member Sunflower Is King
To me, the Sunflower is king among all floral works of art. Their golden petals form a ring around the velvet, cushioned part- large center core to which they cling. They sway and dance as rays impart their faces, to full sun, must swing- as bright, bold beauty fills my heart. I'm only supposed to eat carrots
and carry large loads for no pay,
so winching me up the Cathedral
was not in my plans for the day.
The crowd below seemed quite excited
as over their heads I shot past,
till the zip wire could bear me no longer
then it was my turn to kick Ass.
To say I was grateful to those folk
who cushioned my fall, there's no doubt.
So I left them a gift for their rose beds- I hope that it all washes out....
