When a human soldier's slain in battle
like so many cattle,
he's called a hero in defeat
while cattle are called meat.

Arouse Cows

Arouse Cows

Are when's, where's, now's and how's,
Of God's that everyone He does arouse,
And us amaze;
Him do praise;
We may have been with herds of cows.

Cows

What is a cow but our friend?
We use them from end to end,
Their flesh becomes our meat,
With their hides, we pad our seat,
So, we all should ask God every day,
"Please never take our cows away."

Cows Can Nearly Say Moon

As i languish in your lunar lick
moonbows hovering in petrol scented skims
coping with copious crescent chapters
Fooling its full face with greying mists that etch like moving scars and wrinkles
Sat in your light, keep me watching while slowly stealing seconds

cup tableau

bells tinkle gently

I’m trapped in a cup

watching cows in spring

loamy Earth beneath

ceramic walls crack

moo-ing opens base

Premium Member Corn Kerneled Poo

I hate corn kerneled poo
Dogs in a zoo
Horse resourced glue
I do.
And I hate you.

I hate piss from a jar
Crashing my car
A stinky cigar
It's true.
And I hate you.

I hate heartworms in cats
Cow pats for hats
Popsicle rats
They're ewww.
And I hate you.

Cows of the Month

Cows of the Month, we're here!
This is a badge of honor, my dears,
Trophy of the year, hear, hear,
Once we were 'good little girls',
Now Cows of the Month do twirl,
Excuse me, what did you call me?
The basics, good manners for tea!
Cows of the Month, hear, hear,
It's trophy of the year, my dears!

dispersion

hot crusted bread speaking truths
labouring backs bent over ovens
cows chewing cherrywood cuds cosy
what could be more knowing
as Nature spreads tranquility tacit ?

How Now Slough

Although it’s a hard row to hoe a rough furrow to harrow and a tough trench to plough there’s many a meadow to mow I hereby avow and tho' it may be news to you farmers have the need to sow their seeds where milkmaids milk the cows swineherds feed their sows and shepherds have their pie and eat it too in Slough now

Cows Line Up

What do cows do?
Munch munch grass and moo,
Watch horizons long and blue,
Listen in to insects humming,
Splat fat cow-pats on the dirt.

Cows walk to the dairy in a crowd:
To and fro, to and fro,
Their udders swinging as they go.

They line up for the metal calves
With sucking tubes all disinfected,
Yet cows still seem to sleep contented.

Fence For Cows

If you give
                                            they can't take and chew
                                                    fence for cows

                                                    they can taste
                                                  if you don't give it
                                                     fence for cows

milking cows

milking cows

This is an easy day
I wrote something this morning
it is hard
to make sentences flow
softly, like the narrow river
where I sat transfixed for hours
doing absolutely nothing
I saw a baby trout looking at me
swim away, it had other
things on the mind
perhaps a juicy worm
A holler from the farm
go get the cows home they
 need milking

Do You Know What Americans Do To Cows

islams a religion of peace and love
that's why it bombed my Pentagon
that's why it blatently cut off the head
of my friend now long dead...
Who by the way never hurt anyone
a prodigal son, in the words of the Stones,
islams a religion of truth and Love
It does not need Christ nor anyone
Kill and you will go to heaven now
islams a Cow

Breasts Are Like Cows

They say;
They can be milked to bring the flavor of life
Milk the breasts of a woman and you get loving adoration
They are also like a well of life
That nourishes young babies
From the womb

They say,
Breasts are a man’s balls
To play with in a game of love
It depends on who catches the ball and kicks
It right for a win only
Breasts are our mother nature
The source of life and wisdom

Premium Member No Cows To Look At

No cows to look at
I hear the truck traffic

Everything changes like clouds
The page this poem is on burns

Coming from the funeral with friends
Talking on the telephone

No trucks to grind their gears
I hear the minute hand moving

Birds and people inhabit the earth
A black bear inhabits the earth, too

A rock in the sun
Calligraphy brush

In a mind there is apocalypse
No one can hear it

And the Cows Came

(letters to my presido-elect): ii

the dregs
of the libations
enticing the gods
upon the shrines
of the uncurbed squander
of the treasuries –
o, the squander
of earth’s roots!

& the kins sigh
as the mothers cry
for the fathers lie
in the tombs
the untimely tombs
of countless days –

& the uncurbed coronations
of the cows
reached the pompous limits:
the roof of native skies!
