Count Your Blessings

18 months ago he married
late
the love of his life 
and in january a child was born
a cough he couldn't cure
was lung cancer
3 months later he is dead
dead
gone to the child to the woman
gone to his mother, his brothers
and all who loved him
life is short
chances are few
count your blessings
