I don’t mean to sound selfish
But I often wonder if my name floats through your conversations
Like a ship on calm waters
Deaf
Ears
Hands speak
And express
Our thoughts and feelings
With voiceless communication
Conversations proceed from animated faces.
No purpose in silence,
with these breaths becoming
iron, my sharpest edges
unfurl the curtain, shredding
the flesh of solitude,
with violence.
Destiny waits for love
Unrestricted unbreakable
Comfortable lovers
Cozy conversations embrace
Hearts have grown unknown strengths of love
Brief introductions
Compact conversations
Abrupt move aways
Thirty-minute lunches
Timed in ten-minute intervals
For singles who want to remain single
Summer's surf rising from ivory tides be her light...
Reflecting from an hourglass these prisms she sways
Breaking waves their eyes conversations ladies they gaze.
In a group of more than two, I
Move slowly behind, not by choice.
Heartfelt conversations one day, the next,
Empty chatlogs.
Rather like I'm invisible,
Except
unspoken words linger
unfinished conversations whisper
soft gray clouds
veil sullen skies
a day of calm
anticipates a storm
Bite Size Poem #31 Poetry Contest
Today all I hear is coughing
Hacking and sniffling
Disgusting disease
That might catch me
Interrupting conversations
Cough hack sniffle
So annoying
Grab a tissue!

Loving you like this ,
It's not easy, I won't lie.
Missed touches,
Paused conversations,
Screens replace skin.
Yet even now , just as before,
I'm always choosing him.
Elements
hills
surround me
as I drive
quiet conversations
forest
endless spread
of fauna and trees
breathes

morning’s
reflection [of]
sun
blinded at first thought
then, focus entered the eyes of my thoughts.
the sadness of the nightlife and what could’ve been
turned into what had been
and i was reborn again.
at arm’s length
glances cast at me
big brown eyes
wet grass glistens
they hop along brush
unspoken conversations
words unsaid
sounds of nothingness
the morning
summer calls
Tea
Teapots talking?
Wow
The harmony in tea conversations
The interruption from a lid lift
And the sweet swirl of the packed bags
Testosterone at one lid passing eleven cups.

inflections
gives away mood
sometimes shows sorrow
stress conveyed quite clearly
in tiny conversations
in slivers of body language
hypervigilant children read you
revenge in a pill
gossip needs skill
conversations kill
from a deceitful shill
her hateful thrill
conversations kill
reputations to fill
lies spin in a mill
conversations kill
The Moon was so big and bright last night
that I wanted to call and tell you all about it.
But I didn't, because I knew
that you were looking at the same Moon
and thinking of me too.
A gentle droning fills the officers’ club
Here come the wasps, someone says
A silence fills where conversations were
Some of the officers walk to the windows
To gawk at the new WASPS
I miss your angelic face
I miss your sweet voice
In the middle of the night
I miss your moon conversations
Your warmth
When you touch me
I ache for you
You leave me asking for more.
Deep down I think you know -
This is where I draw the line -
So I won’t be long I promise -
But feel free to chop or change -
Something, anything about this -
But are you sure you’re ready?
sun before rain
leaves by windows
dance in winds
songs of nothingness
morning whisper
dreams I dream
whisper morning
nothingness of songs
winds in dance
windows by leaves
rain before sun
Uncharted territory,
An interesting new story,
One I'm likely to forget.
New people,
New places,
New situations I'll regret.
Conversations,
Contemplations,
To be or not,
To do or not?
The complications of our conversations take deep twists and turns. Why can't it be easy for you to see me like i see you always one step ahead or behind never in the right place at the right time.
Neon glow against
a canvas of night,
Solitude of a crow
Silent conversations
Longing hangs the air
Coffee cups half-full
Silent sips vacant stairs
Of quiet despair
The night is a shroud
