Notes About The Poem
This is for the Choose a Theme contest. I chose the Radio theme. I listened to a classic rock station that I rarely listen to, and the song "Big Empty" by Stone Temple Pilots was playing. A line in that song, "Conversations kill", inspired my poem.
Conversations Kill--Radio Theme
revenge in a pill
gossip needs skill
conversations kill
from a deceitful shill
her hateful thrill
conversations kill
reputations to fill
lies spin in a mill
conversations kill
