For So Long
For so long have I contended
And taken you for a mountain
Only to find you a downhill..

I intend to keep myself happy
I inspire myself to be contended
I defeat my fear by surrender
I need to love to be alive ...

You and I
I have always appreciated everything that you did,
Because for me you were 'everything'!
They say,' Time and tide wait for none'
Though difficult I accepted it too.
Now that I have reached far ahead,
'Settled, happy and contended'
Why is that I still find you,
Where we were separated!...

I do not know?
Poverty
I am a proud man
Not because of my wealth
But for my poverty which provides me
Lots of ideas and thoughts
And helps me to delve into my life
To fetch out some rich philosophies
And break into a way to lead contended life,
Without those banal luxury
Moreover I am trilled to think
That in life love and peace
Never dependent on materials
If they are in abundance or in scarcity....

Stardust Swirling
Swirling, spiraling universe
Stardust in galaxy submerse
Coat me in refined stardust
Brightest star afar entrust
Contended with His Divine Love
In Seventh Heaven above
Swirling, spiraling universe
Stardust in galaxy submerse

Summer Twilight
Such wonderful peace is summer twilight
as sun starts to set, birds making
their final curtain call of the day.
Sweet, oh sweet summer air, how
you make me feel so contended.
As shadows begin to cover
tree tops,
a little breeze saying good day to
the branches, where the birds are
now returning to rest their
weary wings.
Summer twilight such a delight you
give me, so relaxed him I, knowing
this has been a great day.

Rakshabandhan
If they can't fight like cats and canis!
They can't be sister and brother.
If they can't ignite fierce emotions!
They just can't be bother and sister.
If they can merrily stand together!!
They can't be brother sister!
If the feud doesn't end up with a contended smile,
They can't be sister and bother.
Always by each other's side, ready even to die.
Emotions for ever entwined.
Create every memory worth rewind.
The bond is a beautiful tie....

Angels In the Rain
Melodious majestic music filled the celestial air
as their ethereal fingers strummed their harp strings
with tiny luminous drops of rain in the atmosphere
falling gently on their white velvet feathery wings
The steady rhythm of the rain drops only made them smile
as their chorus of harp notes and the rain drops mesmerized
their enchanting musical finale rising up to the heavens above
leaving all the heavenly host with contended angel sighs.

Freedom
Indeed, we have given up.
Freemen, once...now happy slaves?
No longer able to drink from a Church cup.
We are the most willing knaves.
Tragically, to those who unlawfully
locked us up.
Stockholm Syndrome has us by the throat.
We are grateful to our masters for our lifelong
sentence?
Never realizing we must be the butt of jokes.
Contended as our end draws near.
Taken prisoner by a phenomenal,
life-demeaning hoax.
