Contemplations of a School Boy

Endless beauty,
flows from her core.

Touch of her body,
which I’d like to do more.

Youthful innocence,
I’d like to steal.

School girl physic,
I’d like to feel.

Summer sun upon my cheeks
With love and hate
I avoid your visage
And welcome dusk

Summer moon upon my cheeks
Somber and sobering
I delight in your visage
But pray for morning

The College Experience

Uncharted territory,
An interesting new story,
One I'm likely to forget.

New people,
New places,
New situations I'll regret.

Conversations,
Contemplations,
To be or not,
To do or not?

In my head are dark contemplations
Rattled by silent reflection
I fear my introspection
And my own damnation
Scrawled on concert halls
And ghost town malls
See my eyes
Death lies
...Why?

Contemplations On Paris

I've spilled blood in France,
and toured long the tired mile,
and I've seen all bones and gold,
Place Concorde,
and Château de Versailles,

yet Paris is not built with stone...
nor made real with the work of men,
it is a state of mind, and a dream
that never ends.

Thoughts—desires of mind;
Truth—reality that is:-
Be aware of both…

Ideology—
Subjective desires & hopes;
Nemesis of truth…

Look at the children,
A living human rainbow:-
Then comes adulthood…!

Truth is what it is,
Ideology is not;
Both control our lives.

Contemplations - September 2006

Smiles run across their faces

But I am beyond mellow

I want to run far away

But I want to never leave

I want to change

But I love myself

I want to go further

but I fear change

I want to succeed

I want to cut through my depression

I want to go on

I want to survive.

Tapping of Contemplation

Sit here and think
It will surely drive you insane,
But what is it,
Contemplations tap at your window pane
Look at it, think about it
It will never stop,
the rain falling lightly from a cloud
The noise, annoying as it is
Is not nearly as loud
As the contemplations that tap on your window.

Must we honor the promises we make in dreams?
The same moral aspects would pertain, it seems,
and fate would (if the rules of justice still apply),
a dream's blissful amorous rendezvous, deny.
Must I live my waking life bound by dream pledges?
It's too much to trim Scarlett Johannson's hedges.

Contemplations, Thoughts, Feelings

Can love – once again - find a way to open its door a crack ?
Can all the forgotten – lost feelings, ever find their way back ?

Or is it, – as lately it seems – the cards are against me, stacked
and there will never be a road – against the wall I am backed !

Sober Acceptance Gandg

unabashed analyzation
overturned rocks
and constant contemplations
an effortful acceptance
spurned out of desperation
gathers speed now flying
taking, ticking, tocking
the past once regretted
incomplete when forgotten
ambitious non-removal
ticking now, now tocking
can through such a fog
of dense perplexity
a life be shaken loose
can something take me
tick me, tock me

Power of Poetry

"Why do you write verses?" I'm asked.
Well, it's the verses that carry all the blessings
and the burden of my thoughts,
Lonely contemplations...
 ruminations, conversations...
Poignant memories,
Pensive reflections,
raging storms,
of despair and joy,
mind brimming with ocean of thoughts, flowing in verses...
Even when I'm drowning in a sea of emotions,
these verses have carried me to the shores...

Premium Member Winter Contemplations

Ripples of vibrant streams stagnate
Songs of flapping birds relocate
Forest rustles hibernate

Skeletal trees shake, underdressed
Mushy, scabbed apples numbly rest
Brisk, harsh breezes pierce life's chest

Pruned trees develop healing scars
Skies of pewter, stone, and smudged chars
Meet to contemplate the stars

Sorrow and indifference blend
A crocus and daylight ascend

Eve

The is night cold
The streets are mute
The stars are asleep
The moon is moaning
Peeping through my windows
the gentle breeze from the
beach beacons on me
But nature's touch is temporal
Eve's touch is eternal
Where is my Eve?
As tears flooded my veins
In region of my contemplations
an arrow of fear pierce through
my spirit
My spirit screamed for
deliverance from singlehood
Oh, where is my Eve?

These Eyes

What these eyes have seen before
What many loves did they adore
How many lives and incarnations
Are worthy of my contemplations.

Seeking to use the inner eye
We take a risk and roll the die
But life is not just a game of chance
Heed the call of the Lord of the Dance.

We are loved by heaven and earth
If we could only realise our true worth
And with our loving eyes may yet see
How near a heaven on earth can be.

Premium Member New Years Old Wishes

I wished once more
and once again - until
greed became guilt and
guilt became shame.

Who, pray tell, is the arbiter
of my insignificance -
the keeper of my
   contemplations...

Does my conscience bear its weight
upon the souls of others?

Petty impertinences ... that
pile one upon another, until
they're no longer petty -
instead, a pity party with
no invitees nor RSVP's,
just the echoes of
   yesteryear's resolutions...

How High

HOW HIGH

Mountains and Mole hills,
Intimidations or Simple Contemplations-
depends how high you wish to fly !

When Neanderthals transgressed the land
it was wonderous to meet each meal-
yet, now we dine in a minutes time.

Watching the birds fly about,
for many years we desired its convenience-
until we walked up on the moon.

Mountains and Mole Hills,
Intimidations or Simple Contemplations-
depends how high you wish to fly !

In My Head

Standing ovation

Tired situation

Overbearing aggravation

Complications of

Tired conversations

Multifaceted contemplations

Of overdramatic

Accusations poured

Constantly into dire

Straits of manipulations

Churning round in

My mind, never going

To be defined only

Rhymed over time

Line after line constantly

Being refined only to

Find that back again

They come words always

Being undone over

Again in my head.
