Premium Member A Cat In a Catacomb

There was a cat in a catacomb, licking on an ice cream cone, just
biding time to go back home.
A little lonely but not alone, there in the catacomb.

Premium Member Pine Cone Near Livingston

In a rain,
a pine cone fell
from a tree
above the meadow
and rolled in front of a Buffalo
staring at the Yellowstone,

As it’s pelt was pelted
With the raindrops.

Premium Member Larry's Cone

Larry wanted to share his ice cream cone
Sadly, he had to lick it all alone
But today his luck soon changed
An ice cream date was arranged
He happily shared his huge cone with Joan

Pine Cone Kissing Needles

Pine cone resting in tree top,

when a gentle little breeze,

gives him a little push,

falling so slowly to the

ground, kissing the needles

as it passes on by.

Ice Cream Cone

Sitting here alone
With just an ice cream cone

Sucking at the side
With nothing to hide

A kid at heart
And no impart

No one to adhere
Ice cream from ear to ear

Licking up and down
Without so much as a frown

Like a boy so boisterous
Oh that creamy goodness

Loneliness

It does rattle the Bone
To be oddly alone
And one makes prone
To fingering one’s phone:
The seed of solitude sown
And fruit of boredom grown,
Life is a hollow cone;
One like a defaulter over a loan;
In ears a loud insisting drone
Of an unseen plane being flown…

Loneliness reaches the bones
And speaks in our moans.

Premium Member Licking the Cone

Licking The Cone Written: by Miracle Man 9-12-2019 Morning musings drift past me, From a state of near forgetfulness. Life has been a giant ice cream cone Littered with many flavors., And I endeavor to separate the one’s I love, From the distasteful, that rest there. God has blessed me, With eighty years to lick this cone.

Premium Member Joyful Happy Snow Cone Day

Joyful happy snow cone day.
Laughter. Singing. Skipping.
Every child who has almost perfect attendance.
Ninety-three percent was the cut off percent.

I felt really sorry for the two or three children
In each classroom who could not participate.
Especially since none of them can drive a car.
It is mothers who oversleep and do not bring them to school.

An Ice Cream Cone

What’s better than an ice cream cone
To brighten up your day
Or, if your day’s delightful,
To make sure it stays that way?

Especially a sugar cone
With an amazing flavor
Like coconut with chocolate chips
And almonds you can savor.

The answer’s very simple -
Nothing tops this yummy treat
To make all your taste buds grin
And make your happiness complete.

Premium Member Between the Cone and the Bleed

The young smile behind ice cream cones.
Crying when they scrape a knee.

The elders puff up behind fine machines.
Imploding when life has broken into pieces.

Tranquility lies somewhere in between.
Everything is temporary like a beech or a breeze.

Somewhere between the cone and the bleed.
Take a breath-pray to have appreciation for the day,
For just living.

Premium Member Can You Bring Me a Snow Cone

If you go to the faerie market can you get me an apple?
They sell those at the horse market, not the faerie market.
Can you buy me some straw?
I am not going to the cattle market.

Okay, how about a snow cone, can you bring me one?
It would be all melted by the time I got it to you.
That’s okay. I want rainbow colors.
Irritated, I decide not to go to the market at all.

ORANGE

The rising sun cheers all to start the day with liveliness.
Carrots and pumpkins feed all to feel the day with abundant energy.
Marigolds in the vase welcome all to face the day with passion and assertiveness.
Butterflies in the garden wish all to make their day dynamic and exuberant.
Traffic cones on the road alert all to deal with the day with security and sensuality.

M-any tourists the world over
A-re in Mayon's safety site;

O-f the volcano is clear at

V-iew the Philippine perfect cone,
O-nce you travel to Albay;
L-ove the beauty of nature,
C-herish the ashes that pass by.
A-ll things are nicely created
N-o one else but by God alone;

Premium Member I Want Ice Cream Cone Shoes

I want ice cream cone shoes
You mean like Neapolitan ice cream?
No, I mean like turquoise ice cream.
The color of Daddy’s 1957 Chevy.

But ice cream cones shoes have not been invented yet.
Neither has turquoise ice cream, grandma chimed in.
Then I will invent them, the optimistic girl said.
It took her fifty years, but she created ice cream shoes.
They were turquoise, and they were a hit!

Premium Member How to save an ice cream cone

   Band aids just won't do!
   Hold the cone upside down,
   Let the drops fall around.
Catch each one with your tongue!

   Until the cone lets go.
   Then right before the end,
   Bite it off!
   Too get the last,
Suck each drop out really fast.

   When the cone is through,
Stuff the last bit in your mouth.
   Finished off!
The ice cream cone is saved at last!

Premium Member Description of An Ice Cream Cone

A small sugar cone
Is coated on the inside
From top to bottom
With a frozen chocolate
        syrup
Then comes the ice cream

The ice cream harden
With a chocolate syrup
One bite into it-then
Ice cream chocolate chunk
In the middle of ice cream

In a frozen chocolate taste
Then comes the tasty cone
With chocolate all the way
       through
It is wrapped in a wrapper
Ready to be eaten

A Single Pine Cone

*A Single Pine Cone*

A single pine cone
Lying on a bed of snow
Its shadow seen against the morning’s curtain
Lying there cold and all alone
A pine needles throw from the old blue spruce
Sleep little pine cone
Sleep so tenderly
For soon the sun will nudge you more intently
Announcing the approaching signs of spring
Sleep while you can for the squirrels and the chipmunks
Are also welcoming in the entrance to spring

-On the pedestrian island on intersection of, Papilion.Parkway.On the corner of the street. For days, for weeks, so many months lies a full Ice cream cone, unbroken, untouched, and there's a white lava dried out puddle. The Vanilla Ice cream still yet white and coloring has not dissipated. Doesn't didn't disintegrate no evaporate ? Ice cream cone must have came from across the street from "Mcdonald's" where they sell real food?????.
