Futuristic Melodies

Futuristic melodies
And the beat of a broken drum
Compress my mind
While a single tear
Slides up my face
In reverse
As I take back the words
I never said

Introspection

Everyday has become more challenging
I compress my feelings of loneliness
Entertaining myself with uplifting words
In search of a way to create happiness
Outwitting the minds illusion of being alone.

The Trap

Its flow an accordion,
to stretch and compress
A double delusion,
old memory suppressed
New moments upon us,
the instant revealed
Time claiming them all
—redundant concealed

Angel Evening Compress Brisk Sky-

Evening calm
Calling your name
It's almost dusk
And whom do you trust
Randomly you spread your wings
You're flying solo you're free
...free as you fly in the brisk sky

Weakness

WEAKNESS
I am winning over my greatest weakness
Don't you see that we will never overcome to depress
Let's shake off the reality of compress
Universe is the combination of all the things to access

Anxiety

Sometimes I feel electricity.
Anxiety.
Using my brain as an outlet for
It's cyclic nature.
A build up of feeling
and emotions
Like a cold compress placed on
my forehead,
And left there.
Watch me shake like I'm scared,
But I promise
I'm not.

Mastered

Mastered,
understood,
and read,
he could,
compress,
and spread,
at will,
any bill,
in known,
areas,
impressing,
listeners' arias,
with his hands,
on the mantle,
he could assemble,
and dismantle,
with equal ease,
often without,
charging any fees.

To My Soul

Where the heart and soul compress
Is a secret garden of helpless bliss
Foreshadowed by any distorted pain
Unrelinquished freedom yet never vain
And I shall await your baited breath
Today tomorrow until my death
For you are I and I am you
An interwoven love no one a clue

Just a feeling

There’s this invisible shape that get formatted between my hands
A mold of a thing a statue of a being
Writhing my hands I compress to feel its pressure I press to feel resistance
With the slightest push back
I feel the attack
I stand no ground
I’m only out to live a merry-go-round

Literary Options

our words one can compress
but our focus as wordsmiths
is to let creativity take charge
each and every conversation
becomes a writer’s permit to
master their authorship
choreographed words bestir
and challenge mind-numbing
beware of what you share
pursuits of passion my pen
not to be silently suppressed

I Think I Like Diminished Hexaverse

Yo, I'm not kidding!
This style of poetry
called Diminished
Hexaverse is the
new cool Free Verse, yall!

I really like how it
challenges me to
compress my words
into smaller lines.

best part is, you can
bend the rules a bit
and make the lines longer (i think?)

wanna guess what
the last word is??

Femur Sighs

Femur sighs, given a break and transformed by love.
— by poet (inspired by Ira Byock)

What’s worse than an illness, an accident?
Imagine with me
helpless in the abyss…
Open to the curse of curs.

No warm or cold compress
No caress
No handkerchief

No matter how hard you have it,
if surrounded by compassion,
you’re not as broken.

Collection

She collected her names, family’s names,
friends’ names, strangers’ names,
and everything which had a name.
Her mind was like a basket,
able to compress all the names to threads;
the threads were too many that they doodled
creating knots.
“I can see you are tied up!”
her husband tells her as she tries to untie his tie.

Sight To Love

new sights fall again…
                                           upon the previous sights
                                               compress into love

                                              lovers passion forms
slowly in both soul poles deep

It's Time

It's time
and its high time
That we together
Rupture
The cover to behold
This hidden love
To saturate
The stubbornness
Off our heart
Follow not our desire
And let feelings be I charge

It's high time
That we become
The slaves of our insight
So to believe
We can be one
Not even us

As we compress love
through the power of love
It's time

Austen's Emma

Emma.

You may be handsome, you may be rich,
You may be clever, all factors which
May mean you have a happy home
And are blessed with the best that the world can bestow.

Your twenty-odd years may have passed with such ease:
No distress to compress, ever vex or displease.
Your match-making skills have succeeded again
And I'm left, at the end, in non-fictional pain.

High

as i inhale the cloud white smoke,
and listen for the beats and the groves in the song,
a stealthy trail of tears roll down my face,
as now im faced with a sudden notice of reality,
i am now open-minded and now care free,
i begin exhaling the now sour burning smoke,
and feel the cold air compress against my back,
thats when i hear the song begin to fade away

Blowing My Mind

Stars so far, so close, so near
Stars so many, so few, so one
Just think, all the lives that are fed by the sun

The center of a star, a prelude to you
Compress, disperse, explode, burn through

The matter from stars makes up the smallest and largest forms in the universe

After knowing this, how can we deny that everything is connected? Not just on a molecular level, but on a spiritual one as well.

The Last Death I Needed

Waking up kidneys hurt,
Trying to compress them with muscle,
Fluctuate blood but I'm not sure,
The blood rushes to my head,
I didn't drink last night,
Am I dead?
A rainbow of colors fill my eyes I hear wavelengths,
Am I about to die,
I remember I had too much sugar,
Woke up gasping for air,
Water out my nose,
Booger.
It was death that had me scared,
But I died so many times I can't really care.

Sentry Is the Sunset

Sentry is the sunset, as I de and compress
Optimism is a way to scrub the hopelessness
Perhaps I'll escape perdition with a healthy dose of beauty paste
Will insecurities vanities blind me pitifully to the incoming waste
No, this corner would not be built into the path if it weren't meant to be walked down and turned
Growth is not just something plant-based it's a lesson in us all that need be walked and learned

Beauty of Odd

From the simplicity of a straight line you originate,
Yet asymmetrical in shape,
Only your designer takes note,
Beauty of odd.

Eyes expressionless,
They marvel at how you conduct yourself.
You, they wish to compress,
Lips and tongues arid,
No echo of theirs to witness,
Beauty of odd.

Place your calabash on your head,
Walk back to your hut,
New news of you is to be told,
You have one thing left,
Your beauty of odd,
Only your designer takes good note.

Compress

My heart withers at the gates
of which exclude my soul,
For who guides my hand now
pushes the wind towards me,
for the fire that I can control
becomes unsteady.
My actions become a mirror,
one that can not trace
my actions,
but the opposite of my will
is shown.
For I am compressed,
A spring held down
for too long,
it’s shape is now finite,
and still.
Gravity has been hard pressed,
my minds stage has become
damaged.
Why do I feel to blame?
