insidious war crimes
dance in this vile air

pilfered from the pulpit,
games twist tailored tempests
crafting men as monsters
with derision conquered
by illumined command:
complicity in stabs
while changing the channel.
Satellite sex one for all
Cosmic course complicity
Numb political powers to be
Renumerate residual responses
Lifeline planetary promises
Retrograde reality rotundities,
National networks remorse.
They lead us to nowheresville
through silly sabotage sequentials.
And the Beat goes on, on and on.
Mad,like a lover found alone,
self absorbed,
the artist paints
the
sensitive shadow.
Artistic flesh,
vulnerable,
between her kind laugh,
and his
pastel desire.
commitment
in the air,
and yet,
his easel is married
to complicity,
Composed...........
she drapes herself
in royal shades
of
delicious
rejection.
Today we rise.

Were you ready for a virginity test
to cross the umbrella of harpoons.
A chilled moon
will welcome you after slaying
the hot sun in the valley
of gods. A schism scoops
ignominy. Seeing the lights
which were not there. Almost
sexy, the sky pretends to unrobe.
No weeping. A Caucasian brings
red grapes for a naming
ceremony of black password,
searing the age of complicity.
A rocket propelled grenade
is going to blast a whisper.

Shadowy silhouettes and fragmented memories;
ebony outlines inked by years of disappointment
veil hope's complicity in using trivial deeds
like colored crayons, to show God created those lines.
Faith countered my enthusiasm for life with self-doubt,
controlling my thoughts and dousing any sparks of hope.
All that awaits me beyond death is oblivion,
religion can't silence the lamentations of fate.

The Devil capers madly.
Soldiers revel in atrocities.
Demons slaughter the innocents.
The silence becomes thunderous.
Beasts brutalise the oppressed.
Their resistance is legendary.
Famine stalks the rubble.
The silence is shattered!
Strangers fight the iniquity.
Nations condemn the deaths.
… Still the murders continue.
The silence is deafening…
How is this “war”?
The victims are blamed.
The “chosen people”, praised.
Are all lives not equal?
