Tight like
coffin,
black like
nightmare...
The coffin-maker likes his black tight
wagon, driven by the mare at night.
Human skeleton
shriveled body, blackened lungs
just yesterday, young...
Pleading, his final request
gasping: One last cigarette
Here lies Melanie Walker.
A legendary hooker of old.
Her customers must have loved her
because they bought her a coffin of gold.
one
too many
for the road
as the driver stumbled
to the coffin-black car
the sky's stomach rumbled
wet black tar
to fast
end
Returning to what was,
the past became death
All time in the coffin,
—eternity at rest
(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2018)
All around the world that big demonstrations, songs, poems, and insults
Against the Zionists are nails hammering into Israel's coffin.
Here he lies as he always did.
I hope they locked the coffin lid.
O hark ye satan, watch and learn,
With glib of tongue he might return.
I'm gonna wrap each coffin
with a pretty bow or ribbon
just to show how much
death truly means to us
and you never will forget it.

my grave is blessed
my coffin is well-designed ---
detachment undone?
even midst rude beasts
am I ready to be thrown? ---
renunciation...?
When laid inside from end to end.
And there a box reposed my friend.
When heaven's ground is not of earth.
Fear not your God, he knows this worst.
I went out in a mighty coughin fit
but oh how that coffin fit
oh it fit and it fit well
now i'm crossing the river styx
coastin right on into hell

To believe it or not,
In my lifetime
Marches on
Or off with your head,
To toe nail,
The coffin close,
The open door,
Way to,
Believe it or not…
You may crawl to the master, the bastard wants you cheap understood?
Greed, the love of greed a disaster, when death robs the rich in a coffin of wood?
Saint Patrick feared the Ides of March
So Jesus filled his robes with starch
Saint Patrick said,
"I must be dead!
This coffin feels like sold larch!"
While weed could help your mood soften
Dear roommate you toked too often
The pot you would smoke
On you played a joke
As you're at rest in a coffin
Farewell then Alf Mitchell - Or is it Warren Garnett?
Your death has us now parted.
And like Dandy Nicholls,
The nails in your coffin are now Hammered.
fog covers the bier
coffin on moaning shoulder
whitish grey the tears
leaves in icicles dripping
cold shrouded abysmal love

Distant dogs
bark at rainclouds
Dead moons
collide with the living
A television blares
from a plastic
coffin
He watches distant dogs
hunt the sleeping
Long ago in the British empire,
Lived extremely gentle vampire.
He, before lay in a coffin,
Loved to drink cup of coffee
And sing songs with guitar by campfire.

“Envy is the art
of counting others blessings,
instead of your own.”
Taken from a quote by
Harold Coffin
Clearly it flows into my tongue,
Like flavors powdered into essence,
Of smoke,
Smoke blowing mind with quivers,
Passionately like smiles thrown
Into coffin.
I have been reborn and have soared with aggressive force out of my coffin
As I emerge from the cosmic womb covered in my Mother's blood
Now I'm creator, now I'm universe.
I find myself feeling utterly empty so often.
I find myself putting nails on my metaphorical coffin.
I find myself dwelling on what could have been and what could happen.
why did you have to die?!
i can't believe i didn't cry!
you, that padded coffin, i want it a lie!
i managed to bring myself to sigh.
at least i had that one day for goodbye.
