My Cock
My cock as big as a rock.
Sometimes it clucks and sometimes it bucks.
But sometimes it starts to cream.
I live on a farm and I mean no harm.
But sometimes they do scream....

Sucks
If we say something really sucks,
The meaning’s very clear,
For that expression, once improper,
Now’s a common smear.

But saying something sucks can be,
And I’ve not been imbibing,
A compliment – if it’s a vacuum
That one is describing.

So next time you hear someone say,
“Oh man, that really sucks!”
Make sure a Hoover’s not around
Before releasing clucks....

Tired
If eyes are mirrors of the soul
My soul is red and saggin'
I think my brain went on a stroll
And for sure my tails a draggin'

I'm a chicken that's out of clucks
An old wall missing its mortar
Some might feel like a million bucks
I'm more like a buck and a quarter!

Soon sweet slumber I will embrace
As I quietly drift to dream land
Rejuvenating, I keep this place
In the palm of my wrinkled hand!...

The Going Rate
Obama makes a speech and earns
Four hundred thousand bucks.
Of course he is entitled but
The whole world sighs and clucks.

I frankly don’t think anyone
Deserves that kind of dough
But obviously that’s the rate
For people in the know.

It saddens me a little bit
For such a fee seems greedy,
Especially for someone who
Once championed the needy.

Ideally he should give his talk,
Accepting what they pay,
Then find a worthy charity
And give it all away....

The Span Of Life
 by Robert Frost

                                   Span of a Hen's Life

An aged hen clucks backwards without getting choked

I still recall when she was a yoke

                                             <3

                                     Frosty the Hen
