A circle of small white stones
brass wind chimes,
one lone, pink-blossomed cherry tree,
birds twittering
small fountain tinkling - the whole works.

I sit, empty my mind,
too much tinkling and twittering
grow restless, recite
a low pitched Buddhist hymn
which scares the birds away.

The wind picks up
chimes tinkle -
tinkling becomes annoying,
a clanking;

Now I can hardly hear myself
not-thinking....

light years away galaxy,
plush opulence,
starving depravity,
sweet honey,
bitter like salt,
fatal like cobra venom,

dense amazon forest,
bald prairee plains,

men crooked,
grudge,
nod,

Wailing winds rattle windowpanes,
with sounds of moans and clanking chains.
My whole world soon starts to shudder.
And my heart begins to flutter
as a violent sensation
shakes my house to its foundation.

Caught in my peripheral sight
I see a twisting in the night;
and debris swirling in the dark
as the tornado carves its mark,
Gazing into the face of death,
I grab my chest, struggling for breath....

Cool beneath the waters. A small touch
Of green -
Or sunny coral.

Clanking in mine ears - 
But beauty in these eyes -
Through cornea and through 
…Retina.

A painfully perfect tube is drilled - the long days 
Pierced as if a sharp stare of a swordfish 
Glare. 

And a breath-taking fibre passes through the
Scar…and the blood covered by a glistening
