Here's to that black top road
With a faded center line
It can take you place from place,
but can't take you back in time,

My eyes, they paint the sky above,
The stars shining and singing then,
Dust rolls off neglected words,
And I'm tired of this town again.

The wind to fire the starting gun,
  with rules set long ago
