Premium Member Pray Without Ceasing

Since the scourge of coronavirus seems to be increasing,

Now is the time, as St Paul said, to "pray without ceasing!"

And the Sun Shines

outside
my
window
without
ceasing
to
warm
the
people
lucky
enough
to
be
in
it

Heavens, Will, Alight, Exe

Cheer out if you’re listening
Truly must your heart-mind be - singing
Across and spacing as seasons
Dance away ‘til next ceasing.

Ceasing all striving
Resting now in contentment
Joy scintillating
Not so easy as it sounds
Din of ego all around

Desperate Love

Boy meets girl,
Girl meets boy.
Friendship begins to grow.
quick spread rumors
Of dates and lunches
Abound without ceasing
life is great.

Ready To Go

everything packed-
ready to go.
memories stay-
they fade slow.

tomorrow is somewhere
but where i don't know
partings a river
ceasing to flow

The greatest victory one could achieve in life

is the ceasing of the strife raging in his heart!

Where Clouds Are Crying

I gift thee rainbow tears,
and rain.

Flowing freely into thy brain,
never ceasing
an eternal cascade;
...well played.

Just another day,
where clouds are crying.

Premium Member Thought of the Day

We know we are not feeble body-mind
Yet fears and desires grip us in a bind

Ceasing striving, if we choose to be still
Bliss mists pervade form and voids within fill

Premium Member watching a hawk

she soars, she glides
a raptor, a hawk
I watch in awe
ceasing my talk

there’s something holy about a bird flying this high
I watch her zoom out of sight above the dark sky

Always pondering over trifles,
Ceasing to react well in time,
Our decadence is written on our faces,
Review as a critique is the need of hour,
Never place political libertine higher to humanity!

Pray Without Ceasing

No matter how big our sin is,
No matter how annoying we are,
No matter how bad our behavior is,
Never leave praying to cease,
Because with God can abort sin,
He will also help us after death.

He loved his God every day
Sending arrow prayers his way
Lifting his praise in simple patter
Amidst the kitchen noise and clatter
Not separating secular,from the latter.

The Disturbed Quiet

Drenching down in dark,
quietness would sadly hark,
the pleasure of turmoil,
to befall and cruelly spoil
the peace and calm,
singing a cursed psalm,
ceasing smiles to sway,
taking the radiance away.

Smoke

Sparks alit
Fire burning
A stick, a cig
Accumulating

Smoke drifting
Ashes fleeting
Darting, floating
But never ceasing

Huffing puffing
Non-stop haling
Polluting, blighting
My lungs are dying

Darkness

When I look into the shadows
Every little thing moves
Makes me fear for my life
When will things get better?
Will they ever?

My faith is small
My hope is ceasing
I look to the light
Only to find darkness
