stealthy Aunt Caren
a text from favorite niece
cat sharpening claws
with nail file
keep an eye on Mom
not to worry dear
she is in my sights
unaware of course
no lay about souped up speed ~
omnipresent in a different league

Above and beyond
Both profession and calling
I only wish every child has a teacher
Like Caren in life
Then not a single child
Would ever be left behind
And have a fighting chance
To advance
Funny, feisty, fearless
Obliterating output
Rescuer of raccoons
Creative counselor to curious children
Adamant artistic aspirations
Relatives overrunning
Eye for exceptional expression
Nifty note-taking natural!
There is a secret underground organization called CHCC
I feel them spying on me and undermining my every move.
Every click of the computer or I-phone is in a will-not-work-groove.
The Computers Hate Caren Club is in full force you see.
Caren K sure makes me giggle ~ When Trixie pulls her nose, it wiggles

always thanks
for sharing but
i don't like
Boston not
the city but
the band but
know their
song but
i don't like
that either but
the title sings
like lightning
ready to strike
for when i write
the hairs on my
legs chest face
and head know
these poems for
her are more
than a
feeling
Form:
I am proud to say that as a
natural, untamed, messy-haired
wild woman,
my husband can be
quickly and rapidly
completely,
absolutely
afraid, to the
brink of terror
of
me.
I used to weigh
119 pounds, and
he much more,
and yet, when
we first got married
I showed him my
barr-my-teeth side,
so there would be
no misunderstanding.
This is my recipe
for a happy
marriage.
