Premium Member Rose-bush blooms

Rose-bush blooms, sky's canvas vast,
petals open, close, a sigh.
He, a silent, steady,
rooted presence, watching nigh.
Love, a quiet, lasting bloom.

Beating Around the Bush

George Bush went up top for a walk
You should have heard Donald Trump squawk!
"It MUST be a crime!
The limelight is mine!"
(The peafowl was once a peacock)

Iridescent blooms,

                                          linger lavender or peach.

Behind the Burning Bush

Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live
As God blessed them all with love to give
Allow them a voice
And men lose free choice
And no one wants that alternative!

Beauty In the Bush

I saw it in the bush
among others it was dull
alone with it was different
I saw what God, the artist
did on His creature
so proud to have stolen it
For my selfish love

Tear Crocodile Bush

If pray

A burning bush

Twas to appear

I fear

Crocodile tears

May not be enough

To quell

It's flammable design

In time for next pennants

And confessions

Premium Member President Bush In Three Lines

Confusion reigns in him, even before the press conference.
Yet when there's a chance to make a bad choice, none's more decisive.
Acting only when he must, he throws the chips, lets them fall.

Premium Member Tribute to Jojoba Bush

shampoo that comes from jojoba
stands and cheers with a rah rah rah
softens curls in a lovely way
used for lotions too many say
jojoba bush is useful for many
in your yard, do you have any?

George Bush Jr. spoke today
  about a world united by horror
    to defeat a reign of terror

Joe Biden had already spoken
  a coward succumbing to terror
    to restore that same reign of horror

Premium Member O' Burning Bush-

O’ burning bush, where should I look?
Your fires burn infinite;
Those ambers a blaze;
Yet in the cinders golden haze;
You sparkle, always…

Blooming Rose Bush

A blooming rose bush like

fall's golden harvest only

will last for a short while,

so take in the fragrance

stand back and admire,

for it, like life will

soon be gone.

Barbara Bush So Sweet

Barbara Bush wanted people to meet;
To them, she was kind  and so sweet;
Holding  our hand;
Always understand;
Is now in heaven sending us a tweet.

I Was Born In the Bush

I was born in the bush
I live in bush homestead
I go to bush school
I am taught by bush teachers
I learn bush knowledge
But my brain is not bushy
as bush-life has taught me
how to distinguish between
bush-ness and wisdom

Rose Bush

Love is like a rose bush.
Winter comes and you think it has died.
But blooms again,
for it has only dried.
Some have thorns,
so handle love with care.
Cause a rose won't be a rose
and love won't be love.
If thorns weren't there.

Premium Member Snowball Bush Beckoning

snowball bush full bloom
heart of enchantment dusk fumes
as butterflies flit

green lawn of languor
and beauties lying in beds
in the mellow noon

white moon and scent orbs
attracting hued birds and bees
stopping hearts and feet

Premium Member The Bush Will Be On Fire

The bush will be on fire
Long past I am gone
By chance the flame burns out on me
You've gotta keep on movin' on

By chance the flame burns out on you
Before my day is due
I'll keep on movin' on myself
To keep that fire aflame for you

Premium Member Burning Bush

See, Bathsheba looks hot in the tub, gives King David a bit of a chub. He exclaims, “Lordy, Moses!” then, Uriah, disposes, and gets burned when he burns for that shrub.

Premium Member Love Bush

Love is not a rose
But like the bush
On which it grows.

Stems with prickly skins
Tangle and twist
To upward grow.

You paint bright the blooms;
I tithe the thorns
To twining grow.

Given green petals,
And half a chance,
Love’s bush will grow.

Premium Member Who Is To Blame

Who planted the wild berry bush?
I am not raising my hand quickly
Yet I know it was me

She has eleven offshoots
Taking over my garden
Ruining my flowers

I cannot annihilate her
Now that she has these followers
And to think I started the whole thing

Premium Member Prunellas Majestic Myrtles

Prunella loved the color purple, planting some lovely Crepe Myrtle’s; they had a humongous growth spurt, all due to her nitro-rich dirt, now her yard’s a Myrtle hurdle.
