Shooting Star

From heaven fell a shooting star,
As stars are apt to do—
They burn as suns, and brightly so,
Until their burnings through.

But the heavens are diminished
For the stars that fall away—
Imagine how the dark would fail
Should the stars decide to stay!

God Loves Daily

Supreme creator perfected in all things.
My humble spirit longs to return to Thee.
The Holy Ghost and spiritual burnings,
Set my heart on fire revealing truths brightly.
Thusly, I cling to Thy love, given daily.

God's Grace

I am lost without God's grace.
As cocaine makes drug addicts happy,
As war satisfies the appetite of an army,
As meta-sensualism quenches the burnings of a nymphomaniac,
God's grace is the codeine for my soul.
I cannot do without it.
I will seek God's grace every day until it ferries me to eternity.

Premium Member It Happened On a Misty Morning

Wettened by the mornings dew Closely spaced where rows of roses grew Footprints stained the cobblestone Where my love and I had walked, alone Breathless sun, full of grace, cascades Over the moments, in soaring shades Vibrant hues reviving growing yearnings, Kissing away darkness’ deepest burnings

Wild Desire

I will find peace in this life
I will create a new
Dive in and be the one I have brought myself to be
I will seek the adventure ahead
To be the one found in a new light
Crashing among the wild tides of time
I find myself in a world of new findings
Inspired to go on in the Earth of blooming desires
Discovering the eternal soul that burnings the fierce fires.

Premium Member A Nation of Subjugation

Social issues affects many people from all walks of life.
A nation of destruction from past to present days from addictions, excess bank fees, church burnings and shootings, Covid 19, human trafficking, famine,, food shortages, childhood traumas, mental illness, no affordable housing, homelessness are the results of causes and effects of social issues beyond one’s control.

This ''Masterpiece''

This masterpiece a work of art, an affront to all my senses.
Tombstones of the dreams I've killed have built up my defenses.
Still further blurred the years I've learned to hate all we've become.
This world is curbed to round the heard the ignorant and dumb.
Though loving smiles cradle me through burnings of the ages.
And comfort warms so readily, yet still the war it rages.

April wood anenomes
Latticed branches high above
Gold pink orange swaying
Crows caw bees hum galore
Distant foxhounds baying

April wood anenomes
Tattooed black line etchings
Charcoal burnings do reek
I sense bluebells waiting
Grass still, under boughs creak

April wood anenomes
Fronded petals caress
Darting the fervid Thrush
Breezes sweet flow coolly
Creation waits; a rush.'

Let It Burn

burnings wings of fire
stretched across a desolate sky
flames from my belly
ignite the world on high
rain falls down
giant tears of flame
cried from a beast
too old to have a name
the world burns by a light
which no man has ever seen
even the angels up in heaven
can hear the peoples' scream
the night is gone
replaced by burning day
the flames are too bright
to ever fade away
all hope is gone
everyone can tell
our entire world
replaced by this burning hell

Lovely Burnings

Your blue eyes are so  inviting;
Really both are captivating;
on this Valentine romantic day !
It depicts a hunger for my lust;
And me too offering the best;
on this Valentine celestial hours !
Love has its own powers;
It is neither imposing
nor insisting for anything
on this Valentine glorious turning !
But true understanding
And offering and submitting
on this Valentine lovely burning....
