heavy thunder, hammers holy,
livid lightning lights the lowly.

Storm surges, striking sand-bar,
winds wailing, whipping wife’s car,
rain races to rills and rock scars.

Power pulses, promising pain,
branches break-off, block the brave,
dumb to drive on dreadful days....

Little pockets of hearts break off with time
And with that the stone has to recover with each chime

When will the olive tree be free,
its ancient roots,gnarled,twisted
earth-deep into its promised land,
stubbornly ignores its history;
With nectar,embittered and sour
the branches break off,with no bud
the unleafed tree provides no shade,
its verdant green,a dormant brown;
And yet the covenant remains,
the gardener and husbandry
daily engraft shoots with new life-
soon,will the olive tree,be free.

I think they live in the imagination alone.

Yet my fingers wave in the wind like leaves,
They ready to break off and fall,
Slowly - graceful like circus acrobats.

A tree that has branches, which are tough. 
Snow is nothing for me to handle. 
When someone passes me, they break off an icicle. 
And I become less sharp. 
My leaves are buried under snow.
So nothing hides me. 
Yet…
A dead cat lies below me. 
Tangled in my roots. 
The ground was hard so they didn’t dig deep. 
Leaves and snow become entwined. 
To cover him a little more.

A tree. 
A cat is buried beneath me.

A beautiful apple on a branch
grew old and began to rot
while on its way down
it cried for mercy to its father

“Forgive me, my father
I did not intend to break off
from my cottage at the branch
I only grew old. Not my fault.

But the father, the apple tree
covered his ears and eyes
“That is your fate. Fear not
Go down and rot intelligently

That is your final destination
I wish you well in another life
if you discover how to live forever
