I recall the tiger sprawl that burned the skyline vast
How the break of day lit up to reminisce the past
Hey fiddledy dee
A sailor’s life for me
Hey fiddledy aye
We sail at break of day
Hey fiddledy dum
Our trip is all done
Darkness has fallen
cloaking the world in shadows
so mysterious
letting in chaos
to rule and conquer the night
until break of day
worrily break of day;
suddenly fierce insects flees;
whilst birds bobbing;

Lake - A Haiku
cheerful break of day
a largest, happy lake sings
in spite of the bird

Sail away beyond the bay
Horizon's tinged, break of day
Wind springs up, white sails flare ~
Blue skies and sea, Creation's shared
M-orning has broken,
A-s the dusky twilight turns
I-nto warm new dawn.

The fair maid who, the first of May
Goes to the fields at break of day,
And picks strawberries ripe and juicy
Isn’t a native of this country
daisy break of day
A crystal, happy ball stalks
into the petals

A warm wind comes through my window.
Birds sing a song of comfort.
Storms no longer shadow my thoughts
At last, Iam clean at the break of day.
My daughter hugs me
GOOD MORNING
Cold break of the day
then a little, light house stands
frozen off the road

The protesters put their symbol on the freezing water in the dead of night
for the authorities to try to get it out of the frozen pond at the break of day.
The smartness is playing with the stupidity.
I'll sleep good tonight
And silently slip into
a somber slumber;
In the gathering
gloom of twilight
I'll sleep good tonight
and for once dread not
the break of day!

L-et the Wednesday warm
Y-our mind and your heart;
D-awn of the new morn
I-s never falling
A-part.
P-ouring rain March twenty-second
E-vades the break of day;
R-ise of the sun begins,
E-vening chill is far
A-way.
Our lives at best be sandcastles
Meant to last no longer
Than a Mayflies flight
Mere structures of sand
Ne’er meant to stand…
But to be washed away
Before break of day
By the cosmic tides
…Of Night…
Somewhere out there
Beneath the fog
I know the truth.
Beyond yonder
Over the hills
Hide blazing sun.
Don't fear the night
Don't lose your hope
There's break of day.
Not always rain
There's always hope
For sunny day.
break of day pungent
a small swimming fish wallows
because of the ice
~
break barbed of this day
a large swimming fish wallows
he enjoys the ice

reaching garland day
a garland leaf flourishes
out the perfect pond
branchy break of day
a blessed, nativity soars
because of the leafs

forever young

&sweet love
remembered
melancholy depart
begone!
Break of day,
sitting by my empty bed
in the approaching dawning
I turned my sleep filled head askance,
and saw her out of my widow framed in hers,
another woman silhouetted in the light,
I wept and I wondered, where was my love
again last night.
Must be movin' on now..
you know it's really best.
Leave just before waking dawn,
holding memory close to breast.
Will fingers remember finer place..
lasting rondo round held sway.
Heart promised her gentle face,
from parting at break of day.
I lassoed some stars from near and far
and kept the dark at bay.
I hugged the moon and danced a tune
until the break of day.
The covers I flung as I kissed the sun
and asked it please to stay.
I sung a verse to the universe
and then I knelt to pray.
