You’re wasting all my fertility years
She said
With genuine anger.
Dave said
Nothing.
He sloped away and put a single slice of rye bread in the toaster
Popped a hard-boiled egg in his mouth
And thought about his robust spermatozoa.
Form:
Birds of dream at mid night
Bring some brilliant pictures
Buoyant mom at breakfast
Banana bread butter
Brought from basement kitchen
Beaming fork on boiled egg
Bees humming on flowers

they met at jericho's gaff
he's got a hottub that's boss
she asked him what he was like
and he told her
"be frank and cordial with him;
and naturally he'll be fonder of you."
that night was a rock n roll moment
in the room and stuff of pantomime
saucepan tried to impress her by
cracking a boiled egg on his head
it hadn't been boiled
Hard boiled egg shell dyed
Decorated with pastells and crayons
double dip for a richer color
Festive
Little feet running and searching
Baskets overloaded
Depositing candy along the way
Bunny hopscotch, ring toss
Bendy bunny, bunny ink pens
Carrot pick up sticks
Egg shaped chocolates
Remember the everlasting life
Remember the blood and
Remission of sins
Remember you must be born again.
Those two submarines are playing cards on their lunch break,
Suddenly a boiled egg passes and say:
-Hi five what you guys doing?
-We are playing cards
-Can I play?!
-This is only for members.
-That's OK
-I was going to the barbershop anyway,
- Ask Hydra for a Beer egg
- I have been going to AA man are you crazy!,
The egg vomits
The submarines laugh
Hydra juggles
Dedicated to Professor Adriano Moreira
You Can’t Rush the Rain
You can’t rush the rain
Clouds choosing their offering
sprinkling
scattering
anointing
Oh how I long for it to rain
Never my timing
the burst of cloud
color-washed sky
The tea’s strength is in the brew
seeping flavor
mingling
overtaking water
Wine seasoned oaky from the cask
My boiled egg twelve minutes
never 10, not 9
The cheese needs to mold
And I can’t rush the rain

"The Unexpected"
The unexpected
came knocking at the door
bed time stories
became the law
a momentary lapse of reason
rolled the sweet dream over
and stole the pulchritudinous child
hiding under stolen cover
cereal killer
spoon fed
the hard boiled egg
soft salt and pepper
listening to echoes ...
pulling loaded triggers
