The unexpected
came knocking at the door
bed time stories
became the law
a momentary lapse of reason
rolled the sweet dream over
and stole the pulchritudinous child
hiding under stolen cover
cereal killer
spoon fed
the hard boiled egg
soft salt and pepper
listening to echoes ...
pulling loaded triggers
