The Selfish Artist,
Who Never Created,
Took A Bluff And
Called It The
TRUTH!
Good Enough.

Bluff purple mountains
Smothered
By cloudy gray shrouds
Grimly overlook
The busy anthill
That is humanity
In the valley below.
Geese and Turkeys had good reason
To deplore the festive season
Since the farmer didn’t bluff
When he promised them good stuff
Standing on this bluff,
Gazing past the conifers,
To sunset streaked clouds;
I number the days gone by
Since we last saw each other.
Baby bears bounce basketballs, but not before playing blind mans bluff.

Listen to poem:
all bark, no trunk tree
wind howls from cruel blank sea
calls all in, bluffing
the emperor has no clothes
no child innocent remains
Blind man's bluff braille
notes of a thousand pictures
keen lipped DNA
(The first song I heard by Little Stevie Wonder, early 60's.)
Math is tough.
It plays rough -
take's no guff,
calls your bluff,
grabs your scruff.
Had enough?
It clocks you,
knocks you
On your duff.
too late to ante
I already folded
your bluff is good
with the cards your holding
winner take all
and I pay the price
for sitting at the table
I shall call the bluff of this icy winter’s night,
Thwart her breath with my mother’s quilt,
And pray for the return of my lover as added measure.
Spewell Bluff a lovely place
Fishing, swimming, slower pace
River's bend with a mile view
A fun place for me and you
Georgia State Parks you come too
You build it up, to stand against wind
You layer it up, to withstand anything
You shelter you, to repel away my rain
You and a bluff, to bury me once again
She didn’t play poker so well.
Her bluff was as clear as a bell.
Her insides would quaver
So much that they gave her
A hell of a smell of a tell.
There once was a swine loving Tory,
who sought out election glory.
but he was called on his bluff
and quit in a huff
and thus ends that Tory's story.
Trump Big Bluff Horn Haiku
Trump is a big bluff
Do hate to be tough and gruff
Enough is enough.
After hearing Obama speaking
about Trump.

Tough Hood's winter face is a bluff
The snow folds like marshmallow fluff
We would call you soon
If you gamboled in June
But you bet you had the right stuff
dot to dot, the game dolts play,
ignoring the big picture.
it’s obvious.
blind man’s bluff.

You see them puff, of that they smoke
they think their tough, like a manly bloke
We’ve all had enough, of that we choke
so let’s not bluff, or we all will croak
He grew up in a town named Haskell,
but his brother was the family rascal.
He took no guff,
Nor did he bluff,
and no one messed with a McCaskill.
To climb a mountain
to ford a stream
To believe in magic
to live your dreams
Ne'er to give in
to the devil within
Call his bluff instead

Creation of Love
He took an old sock and did stuff it
With a comedic voice he did bluff it
And need I here mention
The guy was Jim Henson
And the sock was his very first Muppet
awaken
chatter
distillate
spread out
charm
guess
welcome
host
bluff
forage
then
sidewise
retreat
cradle this moment
don’t let the minutes slip by
enjoy your blessings
worry will be there
it is part of life’s journey
call its bluff sometimes

Blaggard blaming the blond bloke for his blight:
Blablabla, bluster and bleat, blathering
Blob, your blue blood bleeds blotches on a black
Blossom. Blaspheme, blabber—I blast your bluff.
