Calling Your Bluff

So this is me
calling your bluff
I refuse to believe that
goodbyes enough

So this is me
staying up late
waiting for the call
you promised yesterday

So this is me
tearing apart
every letter you ever told me
that forever’s just the start

So this is me
trying to forget
but these empty bottles
leave me only with regret

So this is me
refusing to sleep
because you don’t deserve
to haunt me in my dreams

So this is me
Calling your bluff
As if breaking my heart
wasn’t enough…
