Britain's Divorce
BRITAIN'S DIVORCE
Brexit?
Well exit!
Don’t bisect,
And dissect it!
Don’t retell and retell it,
As we kind of expect it!
Are you trying to perhaps
Protect it?
Please make a decision,
So we can respect it!...

Lessons In the Sky
Lessons in the Sky
Contrails streak across the sky like
Chalk lines on an azure board.
Some are parallel and some bisect
Forming angles that are supplementary,
And others that are opposite.
He used jets to make white lines,
And taught a lesson in the sky....

Love Illumines the Way
Thirst for God connect
Love holds us erect
As we did suspect
No thoughts may bisect
Joy fullness perfect
We take our chance
Softening stance
In rhythm dance
To each nuance
Thus melting
Love throbbing
Self shining
Gods sun
And we

Pythagoras
Pythagoras was a mathematician.
He taught mathematics in ancient Greece.
He created a now-famous theorem.
You can bisect a rectangle or square.
Draw a line between opposite corners.
This will result in two right triangles.
The two sides opposite each right angle
are commonly called a “hypotenuse“.
The sum of the squares of the base and height,
equal the square of the hypotenuse.

Unity of Consciousness
Looking at form as a composite whole,
Each energy zone with own importance.
Just the way we cannot bisect our soul,
Nor judge pivot of beauteous fragrance,
Dance divine rhythm of exuberance.
Exiting stagnation, one with the flow,
Imbibing the nectar in stillness slow,
Thought rested, so we no longer resist,
Reflex response surrendered and mellow,
We vaporise to become a bliss mist.

Nature Foursome
~a sea gull’s swift flight
over waves, shadow as kite
last catch before night
~choppy waves reflect
birds of sea by light inspect
dead fishes’ bisect
~shad fish seek cover
fish schools shield each the other
surrogate mother
~ocean waves relent
light of day energy spent
sea smells of salt scent
For and in honor of Carol Brown
And contest: What’s The Buzz...

Eating Strawberries In the Dark
All night the blush and cooling,
the rush of making love again,
night light pouring its milk
across the bed
and later eating strawberries in the dark:
their red flesh so bright
they flash in the mouth
when with each bite the teeth
bisect one to its inside white star-shape.
The moon going down pales
the room to a watery milk.
Only a slight flush in the sky.
Star-filled, love-bruised, moving apart,
we enter again the warm loam of sleep....
