A blue bilious cloud
Hangs low beneath the colors
Of the horizon...

seeping from beneath
a bilious hate
a thick and blackened rage
containment breached
small fissures
mar the core
of tortured fate
smoldering ruins
of a life
to date

Splashing mustard on the hillside,
May rains have done their thing
With wandering,
      bilious clouds of storm
That glide as if on wings.
A strong sea wind keeps pushing,
      pushing,
Bending trees and stem....

Ous That
The truth became hideous
While lies turned delicious
I was not fastidious
Neither was I insidious
Only slightly bilious
Because I was lascivious
Though in truth, I was oblivious
That I rotated into supercilious
Even though I was punctilious!...

No More!
Amorous
Passion’s roar

Arborous
Tarzan’s door

Curious
Probing more.

Luxurious
Plush galore

Ominous
Gloomy gore

Belarus
Boxer born

Bilious
Anger pour

Furious,
Angry core

Usurious
Using bore.

Pluribus
Think as one.

Unanimous
Agreed…
“NO MORE!”...

Those Crafty Old Folks
Children like to craft things,
but then they start to grow.
Pretty soon they’re old
and strange things start to show.

Hair in wrong places
Wrinkles on faces
Bulbous modules
Bilious nodules

When adult children retire,
creativity often re-springs.
Even though they got old
they return to the crafting of things....

Untitled (2008)

In the depth of night I crept
and slowly witnessed a being glowing
	bilious to ponder
			       and sat
	sat down on the bed
of which i had crawled out of already
	i looked up
	bright - ah - bright
	crackling in my heart
	and it groaned
			      and waved
	i waved
all in the depth of night...

In the Year 1860
after a few drinks
one cold night
the Rev. Mr Culpepper
left his club
in the eastern part of
Jasper County Mississippi

on his walk home
he was taken sick
and stopped at the residence
of a dear lady friend
the widow mary banes

there hie took
a dose or two
maybe even three
of medicine
followed by
some liquid
libation

here he suddenly died
in a manner of minutes

his disease
was found to be
bilious colic...

Celtic Weather
Clouds crowded together
Cramming shoulders blue sparks
Snapping lightning glaring searching
For someone or something to rain on
Twisting and boiling in angry gray clumps
The wind of their thrashing exploding on trees
They race with abandon berserkers in rage
Tearing and thrashing thunderous crashing
Blindly headlong as they wage
War on the world they engage
Bent on destruction they riot and roar
Without thinking or reason
Rebellious and bilious
Unruly and wild to the core...
