I Forgot
Oh dear! Oh dear! What is this?
Something seems to be amiss
Before so sure was I
But now am left to wonder why
For what compelled my short sojourn
Has left me now in but a turn
For in the span from there to here
All thought for naught has disappeared...

Light to my soul, heavenly bliss, If you forgive me Lord Loving you naught can be amiss, For penance I afford. Death seems ever so near My soul should be all clear Take me Lord there's no fear. Let the bells toll, Light to my soul. Quietus

Blow Me Your Heart
Blow me your heart in a kiss,
flipping wings like a butterfly,
until it lands bellow my eye -
your aiming cannot be amiss,

I stand ahead, on your sight,
you can always reach for me,
even if darker is the light,
the true track is ever free,

May your soul never forget:
I have made my heart
a board to be your target:
throw your sweetest dart…...

Things Will Change
I smelled the nook and crannies
And perceived pleasant odours.
The scintilating mood and style
Of the once indifference atmosphere.
The cruel breeze made league with me,
Joy and Happiness were betrothed.

Then i wondered what may be amiss?
If nature could lend me at least.

Yet my heart is embroided with merry:
I'll wait to see what's coming.

On Such a Night As This
On such a night as this
I had my first love kiss

On such a night as this
Saw the dawn rise, what bliss

On such a night as this
Snuck out for a love tryst

On such a night as this
Cried through my first crisis

On such a night as this
A baby born to my sis

On such a night as this
It's beauty would not miss

On such a night as this
Nothing could be amiss...

Glass can be dangerous
when broken by a fall
it can have a sharp effect
whether large or small

Glass also can be beautiful
like as a mirror is
showing clearly what we are
nothing will be amiss

We indeed see ourselves
it is indeed as we are
because a mirror shows
everything even what was afar

Why do we look in the mirror
for we show we are vain
as beauty is only skin deep
indeed inside is our real stain

Unity For Eternity - Lyrics Embed
You're my love, my song, where I forever belong I'd be amiss if I didn't reminisce about...your tender kiss If stars could sing of our eternal melody they'd romp and dance celebrate our romance The planets would align form a phenomenal design... be painted and hued and heavenly imbued There's nowhere else for me to abide but in your caring arms safely secure in your love so pure... Our unity is for eternity...

A Marriage Proposal
Oh vow, thy love, eternally
A marriage filled with bliss.
Promise your heart beyond a kiss.
Together living strongly, we.
Sing out fulfillment rosy, dreamy.
Our royal goal, prince and princess –
Let not decisions be amiss.
Pledge now, forever-loyalty.

Let two hearts soar to merriment.
Embark with zest; set sights above.
Dwell in faith's arms, which heaven sent.
Let love rely on God…white dove.
My faithfulness shall not relent.
Please marry my eternal love....

Presalvation
The crowd’s presence is not ordinary
Something must be amiss
I do not want to be late for evening service
But a quick look wouldn’t hurt
I crossed over to the other side
Who am I seeing? John!
My neighbour’s son!
The sound of the blows
On the poor boy was drowned
In the shouts of “thief”, “olè”
Emotions moved me to plead
On his behalf
Instincts won the argument
“Oh, look at the time,
I’m gonna be late!”
Adjusting my Bible under my arm
I headed hurriedly to Bible Study....

No Amends
He likes them not, he thinks they’re rough
And dirty all the time
I do not care, I value them
To me they are sublime
Worn out from toil and drudgery
A story they can tell
Of being humble, being meek
The feelings they can quell
I’d never dare to disrespect
These blessed parts of his
I would not trade them for the world
Something would be amiss
They tell of strength, of honesty
They need not make amends
They are just great the way they are
His loving, caring hands.
