Baroque Catechism of Betrayed Democracy

Wills with broken wings
Manufactured poverty
Statistical facts of truth
Strategic lies of promises

All are carried by the Owl
On its back to the masses

Baroque Bach Mountain

If you climb it you will find
harmony
and peace of mind

  Bach is powerful and deep
he will rock you
in your sleep

  in great concertos
like a fountain
flowing down from

Captivation

A river in Autumn
holds captive the baroque colors of trees
that stand guard, honor.

Its joyous flow
travels under the umber bridge
whose reflection

forms an eye, open.
It is a pallette of Autumn,
a watercolor sky.

Premium Member My Sister's Diet Coke

My sister sips diet coke
Gets her day going that’s no joke.
It even helps her dream of the Baroque;
Dazzling her eyes while frying her egg yoke.
And folks this is no smoke
It makes her strong as an oak,
While floating like a butterfly stroke
Whenever she drinks her chilled diet coke.

Premium Member Dark Descends

Onyx cloak
of sunny day's baroque
lay velvet on the breast of each day,

gently caress each curvaceous earthly display
with night tones of diamond stars, a queen's array.

Diamonds of champagne sing amends
to onyx night.. as friends
dark descends.

Captivating Demeanor

Like the alarming abandon & disarray of Jackson Pollack, equally beguiling disciplined skills as in classically baroque airs of Antonio Vivaldi, 'midst the wonderment and wanderlust of a child, I'm awe inspired & unfurled betwixt your captivating demeanor

The Politician For Contest

The baroque politician walked with carte blanche
he definitely was a bona fide anomaly.

The crowd didn't like his avant-garde elan
as the low mummer turned to cacophony.

Politician calmly showed ennui
as though it was deja vu.

Crowd was not a bunch of dilettantes
becoming avant-garde took his shoes.

Then began ripping his baroque clothes
what happened next, nobody knows.

Premium Member Colors In The Sky

A cotton candy pink edges Night's purple cloak, while Dawn rises like smoke. And multicolored ink spills into every chink of Her gilded baroque. Sol extracts sapphire blue from shades of indigo, while colors start to show. And sunbeams poking through white clouds, play peekaboo, casting shadows below. An early morning mist, sheds dewdrops; Sol first kissed.

Who

Who
are you who
shatters
my dreams, awakens
my senses and holds
me tight while you
carefully
devastate my mind?

Who
were you back then, when
you broke into
my life as gentle as
a hurricane in a chilly day of
autumn, as ravaging as
a Baroque melody, as intense as
a rainbow, as enticing as
a nightmare?

You
were, are and will forever be
made of
the stunning mix of opposites
I'm made of.

Baroque Barks

Grandeur of the sea, master craftsmen worked endlessly to make your elaborate mast. Finery
foraged apon this ship for the ports to envy. The waters part for your beauty, sea creatures
praise in adoration of your greatness. The winds dare not blow viciously against you, at the
sight of your wonder. Easy passages all your travels granted. Smoothly ride into the horizon
and stars guide thee.

In His Valley the Shadow of Death

Ten thousand chains their bayonets piercing one's flesh; embedded
Spirit's these devilish hooks bereaved it's mastery ? Gomorrah, enchanted
Of baroque embellished your melodies a millstone, pulling hearts down his barracuda
Come out of Babylon, my child: Goliath, her guilotine and all creation groans their, calvary....
Keen jaeger's armament God'speed extracting thorns entangled time; tis what she's like, entombed.
