Premium Member Theory of Devolution

Around the Sun, Planet Earth revolves
Over millenia, the human race evolves
Save in this, which many would like to see dissolve
~ Authorities, their power, rarely devolve

Premium Member Dreams

There is no ownership
in the night
where dreams come and go
alone
we burn the dead like cordwood
and wait for dawn
to summon the authorities

(from my second book, LITTLE PINE, 2016)

The Belarusian Play

The protesters put their symbol on the freezing water in the dead of night
for the authorities to try to get it out of the frozen pond at the break of day.
The smartness is playing with the stupidity.

A professional I was, poeting for years The authorities arrested me for plagiarizing my peers But it was just the opposite For awards was nominated However, paid off the judges, so it shortened my career

GENOCIDE IN GAZA

as South African authorities
opened case at International court of Justice ,
accusing Israel of genocidal actions
in Gaza,
hope the judges
will look at this issue
seriously...
As no one must be
above the Law.

Keen To Be Green

Local authorities’ love recycling
It’s a green policy and its one that wins
They want to reduce the carbon footprint
Of the electorate, for their sins
But if they were truly serious
They’d stop making so many recycling bins

Premium Member Cops break up open poetry reading in Monterey

At an open poetry reading in Monterey,
another poet got on stage and said he had nothing to say.
And that made the audience go ballistic,
and some got so pissed, they even got pugilistic ~
till the authorities came ~ and took all our poetry away.

Premium Member Runaway Horse

It is with much regret and remorse,
that I must report a runaway horse.
Seabiscuit has up and left the course.

How can a beast of such renown,
who almost won the triple crown,
evade authorities and not be found?
By hiding on a merry-go-round.

Evil Criminals

Authorities hold their grim faces to the floor,
Making arrangements for their crimes to be no more,
Resting and planning while in their cell,
Deep in their clever minds rings a bell,
And so starts the construction of their getaway,
Dreams of evil crimes to rein yet another day

Complete

I cannot see
the future,
be it bleak or beautiful,
it's lost deep in the stars
of eternity......
earth cannot see into it's vastness,
the geologists warn,
the palm reader predicts,
duo lukewarm
authorities.
And the foretelling is absorbed
through a soft sponge of completeness.

The New Tyranny

The new tyranny

Smoke of anger
rises from the streets
A hunger
for equality
Demonstration, strikes
is the seen action
The authorities do nothing
wait for exhaustion
when the starving turns
fight each other
At that moment
new laws introduced
that will
curtail the scant
freedom people have

Premium Member uh oh

I am not a hoarder, the hoarder said
She was angry, her face was red
Open your house, said the authorities
she did and they found sixteen monkeys

a skull, some bones, a rats nest too
the flowers were as sticky as last week’s glue
What do you think a hoarder is? They asked her.
I don’t know she said, but what is that fur?

a moment in Vietnam

a moment in Vietnam

Heavy rain had fallen in the night
in the morning, a cable line in the road
and fallen leaves
it was the cafe's phone line
a woman street clear cleared the wet
leaves, the café manager gave her
iced tea
in the afternoon, the locals watched
a movie that was half forbidden
by the authorities

Mr Tin Foil

Mr Tin Foil
He’s a tin foil hat type of guy
Do you know of those?
They wear tin foil hats

To stop the authorities
From reading their brain waves
His report says he is a higher thinker
Or some such turds and that imbeciles

Think he’s insane due
To their lack of understanding
He’s a real fricking lunatic hahahaha

Armistice

NOVEMBER 2022

Rightly so, the poppies flood
Early in the winter sky
Merrily stood in field, and this
Existence of mine has passed by
Maybe they'd watch us contend
But are authorities ever sober?
Early now, in Winter's sky
Realise how they owed her

Unwillingly ignorant to the loss, they'll be
Scorching their retinas, a veil of red

Premium Member An Old Story

Sometimes we pray so that
The Kitchen God
Will not tell some of our mischievous acts
When back to heaven end of the year
It is not an old story
As a bribery is a comman way of life
Nowadays
To soothe the anger
To satisfy the greeds
To zip the mouths
To blind the eyes
To stuck the ears
Of the authorities
The stony hearts of mankind
