There once was a man with a stave
Overseeing a holy enclave ...

He assessed wicked tales and forgave...

Assessed and Blessed
Assessed and Blessed

My talents and abilities recently assessed;
All of them by God I have been blessed;
With me until death;
My last dying breath;
They are personally owned and possessed.

Premium Member Single Pointed Focus
Our attention bundled in quanta of time
Each continuum eternity
Upon our awakening the divine sublime
Seeks loving connectivity

Mark of our ascension may be self assessed
By our innate divine affinity
If we allow ourself to be by God repossessed
Each breath holds entirety

Daft Where Is the Plan
With their Tools, equipment, workwear at the ready
Hoping that this job, a first in a while goes steady

The weather has been assessed
And now we are waiting to be blessed

As the shift was about start
And the war paint applied like new age fork art

The crew started to ask “where is the plan?”
When they realized, It must still be with the mail-man....

Vengeance
Like a fiery vengeance
Grasped in open hand
Cuts the loathed foe
Stains your own land

Hate surges like flood
Shatters the weak soul
Spilling the divine blood
Of both sides involved

Anger drives men crazy
Like a tropical storm
Loss are assessed lately
When started to mourn

Forgiveness is not easy
And not for everyone
Don’t wait until query
What have I done?...

Tests Are No Light Winnings
Tests arrest students' rest:
Requesting the best their stomachs digest;
To see the ones that would be oppressed,
And the ones that would repossessed...
Providing solutions to teacher's quests,
From the simple twists to them he ingested--
That with pen, he will have marks attest:
Either make cane's justice get them swiftly arrested
Or make praise reinforces their progress assessed....

Do It Again
A life, years before, had begun,
Now … nearly over and done
   Down a lane
   Just to obtain
Life’s irrepressible lesson.

‘T is not what we have possessed
That left us so wonderfully blessed
   Nor was it beauty,
   Nor sense of duty
But how our life’s been assessed.

‘T was treatment of mankind and kin …
The love we expressed from within
   To those we met,
   And without regret
Would happily do it again....

Fire Call
Tones blare
Heart pounds
Prayers sent
Station bound

Turnouts on
Nomax too
Helmet, gloves
And rubber boots

18-15
That is me
Sirens sing
Engine gleams

Airpack on
Arrive on scene
Cars on fire
Patients scream

Hoses pulled
Scene assessed
Flames put out
Jaws of life spread

Patient care
EMS on scene
Life-flight inbound
Punctured spleen

Patient gone
Hospital bound
Head back home
Til next time around

When I Should Try to Take My Test

when I (we) take my (our) test
I am (we are) willing to suggest
(after it had been assessed)
(may be difficult to digest)
(may be pounding on my (our) breast
(which is what we have confessed)
(for occasion up had dressed)
(even though did become depressed)
(by us perfection should be stressed)
should try to do my (our) best

All the words in the title are used
in the poem. In addition, I have
made suggestions in parenthesis....

Premium Member Who Will Pay
The path on which we journey targets death,
So it's imperative each day we're at our best.
For none knows, save God, our final breath,
In judgment our performance will be assessed.

Knowing that for all sin Jesus did atone,
Giving each an option between purpose and drift.
For our choice, someday, we'll account alone,
Consider accepting life's most treasured gift.

* Jesus paid the price on the Cross for our sin
or we will pay at death. For by Grace we are saved....
