Heap of leaves, fluttering. There is no rain to restrain their act. Blustery winds animate; backyard drift.

Animals

The Moon inside your eyes is dangerous as mine.
Cannibals, Wolves, Tigers, Cats & Lions.
Let Animals animate.
Don't hunt them.

Absurd

Absurd figures at night
Arrive when all waves are
Asleep, buds of deep night
Appear along with the
Animate Amazon
Astir in a pink joy
Attended by archers

Cyber Speak

Can you hear the tone of my voice?
Do my flat written words animate on your screen?
Can you discern my mood,
distinguish between raw truth
and sarcasm?

I am but a silent envelope on your toolbar.

Hummingbird
   motionless now
      hovers still
         rising, falling
            on my breast
               as laughter rings
    it doth animate his wings.

After Rain

Dew ballet stirs animate on fragrant morning air
Acidic steam ere ancient winds admit first sight of dawn
Marsh rafts bearing saddened reeds through mangrove-sheltered heat
Perspiring forest greens' forced breaths as night so wetly fades.

Who-Man

by a woman
or by another
an illusion of the futures

in the worlds that cross themselves
souvenir by souvenir

it is the fragrant tea
this sugar in my mouth

who animate my present
my desire to live the sky

this eternal horizon

Conversations With Animate Earth

You fill my lungs
Igniting brain and bellows
You rush through these veins
Providing the pulse of experience
You set these bones to motion
Drawing desire to summit your peaks
When I lie down deep to recieve the earth
You wash me with love to engender peace

Ego frames goals, subject to change So fickle is our heart Why not thought patterns rearrange And thus make a fresh start Animate zest and zeal Pause in silence to feel Love alone is real Desire controls Ego frames goals

Golden Glitter

Golden glitter
Falls across your chest
My eyes tightly shut
As I embrace you
Threatening to never let go
And as you surround me with
Your animate arms
You terrorize me with the same warning
You pressure me, saying
Don’t ever let go
But I’m not scared

Premium Member Is There a Thrill in her Fingers

Is there a thrill in her fingers
in their touch, an enchanted spark

              Is it imagination
or do they animate the dark...

One night 'pon removing her glove
streaks of lightning burst forth above

Two Chairs

Come to my home
were you may see
the other half of me
what will we eat
I'll have to animate
no lobster no wine
for I live a small life
all that I give
what can I say
I will not be ashamed
my home has
only two chairs
but were theres
no money
love has shone the way
for love and cares

Having Heard Myself As A Child

"To pause, if just once, with just
Enough time to spend
With God, through a tree, tree frog
Already a friend;
With life moving in a sprint?"
(A wildfire's footprint!).

Now older, and slower now
Your excuse is, man?
To not so, nor that briefly
Doing other than
Whose love, for to contemplate
Your's did animate?

Premium Member Cessation

ceasing striving
slowing down mind
shifting to heart
poised in stillness
we animate silence
as humming intent
before its release
as burning yearning
to merge with God
Who is all love

this breathless invocation
renewed in the timeless now
invokes bliss magnetism
as the effervescence of God
enlivening our toroidal heart

Premium Member Bilocation

are we not comforted
dwelling amidst objects
signalling we are not alone

yet when unfocused is our gaze
as the vastness that holds all
soul’s eye becomes single

eternal consciousness
upon which illusions play
pulsates in dynamic stillness

thus both deluded and illumined
we animate the play underway
with divine bliss magnetism

Premium Member Star-Fins

Child sculpting with delight,
a sea turtle from sand
Details of a geometric shell,
design carved with a stick,
eyes of two perfectly round,
worn- flat sea pebbles and four
well- placed fins.

If an unseen force were to
animate these features
and sea-ready fins
It would race for the breakers,
not looking back to see
who was its Creator.

From Life To Life's End

day night’s each second
                                           combination of colors
                                           Sun’s distance causes

                                        nothing's left from change
                                            animate inanimate

Build a Fire Under

M-ay third, build a fire under,
A-fter the long idle night;
R-ise of the sun begins,
G-iving more warmth and light.

N-ow build a fire under,
A-s you start to stimulate;
Q-uest to make a vigorous action,
U-ntil you encourage or animate.
I-t's a beautiful Wednesday,
R-ays have filled the air;
A-im to happen or develop, build a fire under.

Excuses

I have no brillance
as decadent decades
drowned into dullness
whatever light as promise
to animate a rosy write.

I have no sparkle,
or swirling syncopation
to proselytize, legitimize
this fling towards
imagined immortality.

I have no positive
uplifting union
ultimately here weighed down
by reality dawns
that creak trhough bones
fortuitously flung
towards creativity.

I am lazy.
