golden sun shines bright
amber waves of wheat grains in fields~
nature`s nice gift.
Ode to Amber Heard
My dog stepped on a bee,
But it didn't faze me,
'Cause I was high and thought it was funny.
Please, forgive me.
inexorable whispering river
oblivious victim stalked
glistening golden goo

Still with a full glance
now only do I stare,
within those amber eyes
her misunderstood ominous glare

Title: Amber Eyes
Visual: #3
To get my mind off war and inflation
I’ve watched the trial for defamation.
But from what I’ve heard
that scorned Amber Turd
should be on trial for defecation!
In the home of the ‘free and the brave’
live cowards come out of their caves
Proud to fly the Nazi flag in Jacksonville
'Once-amber-fields’ turned dunghills
My
Amber
Soul a flame
Drifted to peace
Four
Kiss
hidden
in secret.
Locked forever,
shining leaves caught in sap turned to amber:
a golden love held in rings betrothed.
In unison,
palm to palm,
fingers
touch.
(Painting 1, 30th August)
She moves like a smoky shadow
Ebony eyes with eclectic stare
Not knowing softness heart shallow
Rating hugs dismissing kisses shared
Youth was never an amber advantage
Understand she was taken for granted
sunflower garden
teeming with bright red roses
shares the gold spotlight
heat haze of noonday
sparkles berries on the ground
green tanagers fly
sunflower summer
of lilac purple passions
lustrous and dreamy
There is a day the last day of the year
To reminisce ponder and yes a tear
The next day comes along full of hope
As if to give us all enough rope
Resolutions spent in lieu one cold beer.

Lady fair meandering verdant hillside
Tracing amber prints of a night that glimmers
With the vintage lace from a rosy springtime
Breathless her senses.
Sapphic Stanza # 3 of Craig Cornish

Summer
lengthens evenings,
dawn stretching til the dusk.
Light cascading through our window,
an amber ray, golden liquid dancing.
Warm to the touch, a soft embrace
lulling a gentle sleep.
Lovers bloom in
summer.
I envy your lightly veined eyelids,
For upon a pulchritude so glorious they rest.
I envy the falling drops of rain,
For your amber hair they fondle best.
I envy the so bright sun
For to you it sends warmth and fun.
Shining bright sun kisses the field
Earth rejoices with golden yield
Symphony pervades every part
Reflections - on your Amber heart

cellar door afar
cellar door ajar
amber discovered
candle uncovered
cellar door afar
cellar door ajar
candlelight covered
amber light hovered
cellar door afar
cellar door ajar
amber light covered
candle smoke hovered
The sun, like liquid gold fell
upon her shoulders.
Her hair,a shade of wet crimson,
spilled down her back.
Her eyes, like fire lit amber,
gazing out at the world.
Right then,
you could've sworn,
she was heaven in high heels.
Amber sheaves of wheat stand tall,
proud to feel a ray of sun.
But seas of grain bid sad farewells,
waving as the sun takes leave,
and this fine day is done.

tickle foot touched (smile).
bird like nesting
in transience....your lips part....
leaving that indentedness
(of place)-- unfolded,
disarray of jeans become
your shape....bodyless blue,
(untouchable) textures
reflected in amber
Form:
the daybreak's amber translucence
weaves through the window curtain
like lustrous satin
that drapes and falls on the ruffled folds
on the bed, as I let your whisper
sink so slowly in...
Butterflies of every hue
Each and every flower too
All the birds flying by
Every diamond in the sky
When the weary sun doth sigh
With amber blush it paints the sky
To set the stage for luna's rise
All are beautiful to the eyes
Alone, and afraid…
Where’s my Mommy?
I can’t find Daddy.
I begin to cry.
And scream for some help.
They can’t hear me.
It’s far too loud.
For a young one…
With a little voice.
Where am I?
It’s cold here…
And scary?
I know
I’ve been…
Left.
Blessed to live another day
I am so grateful I celebrate
Racing life’s clock limited time
Too determined to stop I find
Happy because I choose to be
Despite life’s challenges I am free
Amber spirit of a beating red heart
Yesterday is gone tomorrow a start
