I was inspired by the mosquito trapped in amber from Jurassic Park. What beastie did this bug feed on before it met its end? What DNA is locked in there, waiting for some enterprising (i.e. foolish) scientist to extract and tinker with?

Thanks, Paul. It's entirely up to the reader to decide *why* the pendant is precious, but the main element is the contents of the amber bulb... Regards, John.
