There's no gnus like no gnus if you're a gnu who likes no gnus but if you're lonely and agnother gnu you'd like to see as two gnu's company yes indeed believe you me altho' it may seem absurd no less than three's a herd

Inner Child

You're never too old to be young at heart even Freud was Jung from the very start altho' childbirth is a labour of love it's all in the swing of things and to about-face child discipline is strictly a case of heir conditioning

Ode To An Ocelot

Not a lot of ocelots are seen in the day they prefer the evening or the night if an ocelot you're hot to spot altho' it's quite a long shot an ocelot you want to sight you may even hit the jackpot if you do it right all you've really got to do is switch off the light

Forward To The Past

As their twinkle (starshine) takes time travel from the past and light years (90 billion) to arrive across a void so vast altho' we've been to the Moon (and back) Venus Jupiter and Mars how can our future lie not here and now on Earth but in the planets and the stars?

Remembering

I here loud screeming voices,
that arn't relly thier,
I sit and blankly stare,
As thees thoughts rip and tare,
No thees thoughts must go,
For no-one is supose to know,
What you did and how you left me thier,
making me hollow and pushing me not to care,
altho you still huaunt me,
and make me scared,
You dont and never have cared.

War And Peace

Altho' 'tis something any sane man would disdain, should abstain from and abhor, there are those I condemn who choose to cry, 'Mayhem!' and let loose the dogs of war. Meanwhile, no need to think twice, I prefer a 'purr', to play nice and release, tho' they may be old hat, the pussy-cats of peace.

Albert Einstein 1879-1955

Altho' it's not E=mc squared, Albert was heard to theorise when he declared, "Carrots are relatively good for the eyes, it's a fact they'll make you see well and look good too, I'm blinding you with science, it's not hoodoo or a voodoo act." He then asserted, with a wicked grin, "It only hurts when you put them in."

Ivan Petrovich Pavlov 1849-1936

Of eleven children he was the first and from an early age for research had a thirst his love of dogs was no surprise highly regarded he received the Nobel Prize altho' no longer around of all those that ever were I clearly like the sound as with food it goes so well and if nothing else the name 'Pavlov' rings a bell

Dong Zhongshu, 179-104 BC

If you've a yen (it's not zen) you may bet your bottom dollar while integrating yin yang cosmology Chinese philosopher and scholar Dong Zhongshu (good old you know who) favoured heaven worship results over and above traditional cults altho' a man well-read he often wrote instead yet to avoid confusion knowingly said, 'Jump to assumption, arrive wrong conclusion.'

Stimulation

Hot coffee black coffee really has the means when I sup but half a cup to make me feel quite full of beans only one requirement tho' no decaf if you please and altho' born in Kenya where the coffee grows why it's called 'a cup of Joe' I'm sure I do not know but hot coffee black coffee is the best ammo when I do a mug or two to give me the right get up and go

Taking Stock

Been to the London Stock Exchange opened in 1571 by Elizabeth the Queen and what's more saw the New York Big Board the world's largest stock market ever seen but when I took a trip to Paris had no clue as to what to do altho' I was educated in French (parlez-vous?) I believe brokers did so to discommode as when yelling buying or selling they communicated in Bourse code

Dense Love

Days are slow nights so peaceful
The hate is leaving not quite as vengeful
The hurt remains as scars always do
Ur image fades the longer I go without seeing you
The apprehension of speaking what I use to feel
Is fading for you no longer seem real
Your love was smoke in space and time
Was never true and contained too much grime
Your lies altho they stung gave way to a lesson
That love so dense when gone is a blessing

Shallow End Of The Pool

When handed a stuffed pullet looks like a stunned mullet should I turn surly in high dudgeon please don't bludgeon this old curmudgeon and not to be outdone altho' I am an only son blame my parents by all means as I'm the result of their poor genes which run the gamut of the spectrum but I don't care one bit not a jot nor give a sh*t more politely put I really couldn't render a rodent's rectum

Scarlet

Said the Mother Superior, “I have completely lost track of how often the Archbishop and I, wearing ashes and cloth sacks, crept into the crypt and made the beast with two backs. Altho' no one can hold a candle, to his Grace, yes, not even the Venerable Abbess, flagellation notwithstanding, as a nun married to God, who committed sacrilege, I'm ashamed to confess, I broke the Lord's Commandment as an unrepentant adulteress.”

Rainbows

I'm forever chasing rainbows pretty rainbows in the air they're so high way up in the sky they are but my dreams which all fade and die altho' fortune's hiding I'm dreaming dreams I've looked everywhere building castles scheming schemes tho' born anew their days are few and yet as the daylight's dawning like a sweet butterfly they return in the morning there's one at the end or so I've been told but will I ever find my own pot of gold

Has-Beans

One cup was enough to curl his toes as caffeine the psychoactive chemical allowed no doze or more than a mug no matter how roasted the polyphenols affected his free radicals 'til he did feel really quite toasted and yet with no wish to upset the happy home after so many years of married life he chose to grin and bear it the 'Harried Hubby' syndrome for altho' his dear wife brewed her coffee in a pot bad-tasting as it was grounds for divorce it was not
