Premium Member Town Called Cats
Fire captain cat is super calm and cool
Furry as all get out, an unspoken rule
For we reside in a town called Cats all Drool
Last night the fire people saved our burning school....

Dangerous As

All get out,
there’s fire in the hole
Dangerous as ...
bomb ‘bout to explode
Don’t keep anger in,
let the hatred all go
Dangerous as ...
emotions uncontrolled
Make the lions docile,
dose them down with dope
Dangerous as ...
hopelessness that can’t cope
All get out,
there’s water flooding the hold
Dangerous as ...
desperados selling their souls...

Premium Member Sizzling Grandma

                BEWARE

       She purchased a new car!
       Red hot!
       As all get out!
       Went inside her house,
Donned her short skirt and scared a mouse.
       Then, the piece de resistance,
       Those thigh high, white boots.
Grandma, definitely back in town, toots!!

Premium Member We Wagged Our Tails With Glee
We dogs were in an uproar, angry as all get out.
The cats get all the attention in October, we usually pout.
Let’s have our own tradition, come howl at the moon.
So this year we had their own party, all in costume.

We dunked for doggie treats out of a large vat.
We constructed our own HELLO door mat.
We sat on each other’s laps, and wagged our tails with glee.
Next year if we hold another one you can go there with me....

Premium Member Legend of the Pearl Mermaid
She is the pearl mermaid, exotic as all get out.
When she rises from the ocean, the waves prance about.
She sparkles with beauty, she is dazzling in a regal way.
Dripping with pearls and shells, she lightens up the day.

I have heard about her for over sixty years.
Never meeting her was one of my biggest fears.
She may have moved on, for I frankly have never met.
The Pearl Mermaid, who is apparently as gorgeous as they get....

Premium Member Are You the Spirit of Halloween
Are you the spirit of Halloween? The wind asked me.
I scoffed and stuttered and laughed and broke free.
Playful Halloween spirit or the more macabre, I wondered.
Night sky lit up with lightning as dark clouds thundered.

My jazzy side found humor in the question of the wind.
I am not a devil, or evil, but how many witches have sinned?
Halloween can be dark or as light and lively as all get out.
I think I could be, I told the nosey wind with a cackle and a shout....
