no matter how hard i tryed
i ADMIT I CRYED
A poet - some deem that I’m not
I write about farting and snot
Won’t be driven away
I am here to stay
Of critics, I don’t give a jot

she did her best to pretend she was not a witch
She took a job digging bricks out of a ditch
Her seams were crooked, but she continued to stitch
For she was not about to admit she was a witch.
Hate Crimes Exist
We must admit that hate crimes do exist;
Are always there and continue to persist;
Others harming,
Never charming,
And we should cause to cease and desist.

Must Admit About It
About Alabama many of us have to admit;
Half of them are not really worth any of it,
Real hot to trot,
Was really not;
More then could chew off Moore had bit.
Jim Horn
There Is Something I Must Admit
There is this thing I really must admit;
Every time that I went into my closet,
Looked everywhere;
Was hard to bare;
Whatever I was looking for had lost it.

I'm a big sissy when it comes to my flu shot
So what if somehow a case of influenza I got
I'm healthy, I can take it
Though I'm old, can't fake it
I'm going, I'm going, off I go for my shot, I trot

I freely admit and hereby disclaim
when writ 'twas a pitiful rhyme
and all those moments
will be lost in time
like tears in rain
in Spain
they stay
mainly in the plain
or so they say
and yet are washed away
down the drain
never to be shed
or seen again
Already Admit
Another thing already again I must admit;
Her beautiful room had been immaculate;
Was kept clean;
Quite a scene;
She would not let us in or allow us to sit.
Was this your room? I notice that more
women read my poems than men do.
Is there a message?
Jim Horn
Learning to love
all parts of our room
Not just the corner
where we feel safe and secure
Knowing that dragons
that hide deep within our hearts
Are princesses in a cage
waiting to be released
Drawing from everything
when it seems meaningless
no feeling is too much
when it’s crying out for wings.
Must Admit Trump Will Not Quit
There is something that we must admit;
Trump ran off big mouth and cannot quit;
Pain in read;
Did happen here,
And much more than can chew off he bit.
So someone got with the program and wrote
a letter to New York Times about it who is on
Trump's staff.
Jim Horn
If it is written, so be it,
but who'll admit
to writing what was writ
when the fan is hit?
And, if, having inscribed,
the finger does proceed,
whose digit was it
when the words were decreed?
Yet, carved in stone,
or etched on glass,
who'll confess to pouring such concrete
when it comes to pass?
I Admit...
I admit.. . I cried. . As you spoke the words. ,
I admit .... I cried... As you touched not just my heart..but my soul...
I admit.... I cried....As you walked out...
I admit .... I cried... As you waved to all of us good bye..
I admit... I cried ... Because I saw my God leave..
I admit ... I cried... Because I loved n would always love my God...
if you do not want me
then why do you always
take me back
if you are only truly
doing it for me then
you can stop
cause i no longer care
if you are in my life
or not so you can just
leave me the hell alone
but the truth is that you
do want me otherwise
you would not continue to
take me back time and time
again
you want me you just do not
want to admit it
Fear hides within levity
by poking fun at itself.
Yet there’s no sanctuary
and it’s quickly ferreted out.
It freezes time and kills dreams
adding a chill to each breeze.
And makes us feel fallible
testing our humanity.
No security blanket
can keep it at bay for long.
And when it enters our hearts
we break into a cold sweat.
It’s a feeling we can't curb
festering inside of us.
And it influences our lives
though few will admit to it.
