Fear hides within levity by poking fun at itself. Yet there’s no sanctuary and it’s quickly ferreted out. It freezes time and kills dreams adding a chill to each breeze. And makes us feel fallible testing our humanity. No security blanket can keep it at bay for long. And when it enters our hearts we break into a cold sweat. It’s a feeling we can't curb festering inside of us. And it influences our lives though few will admit to it.

Fear has a hold on all of us at one time or another, but facing it is the only way to conquer it. Another terrific write, Emile.

Fear is the nemesis of every aspiration. Fight through it and you nearly always win out. This is a great poem on the subject Emile. Well done as always! -- Dean
