"You do these things to shock me"
One of many absurdities
That mouth has hurled at me
While mine its lip is bit
Bred to holdfast like a pitbull....

Trump Polygamous
Trump Polygamous

Horrible Trump prefers to be polygamous,
Resulting in him becoming some sourpuss;
Likes to handle;
Even mandible,
And when he has gone we will never miss.

Jim Horn

Why do people like putting up with
all of Trump's absurdities anyway?...

Premium Member Breathless
Ensembles of little wonder,
rattle the mind amiss,
percussing each muse asunder,
more a kick drum than a kiss.
Inherent absurdities,
on which I plaster a smile,
mortified in memories,
regressing all the while.
Through breathless interlude,
studied demeanours lie,
I pray for beats of solitude…
to distract my rhythmless eye.

fall rain brings thunder...lightning?
San Francisco weird

Brian Johnston
November 9, 2015

Poet's Note:
In the Bay Area rain itself is unusual, but thunder and lightning are very rare here. On the other hand, gay people, strange political ideas (to you), super-rich people, and fashion absurdities are normal to us. Go figure! Ha!...

Absurdities
Beach walls ? I have
lost the moon again,
in red wine.

The breast milk ? Was
it a sexiest remark ?
the fetus was still inside-

the womb of a closed-
circuit television. I had
the sharpest sight

in dark. You like
the pussy. It purrs, around
my ankles, when I

talk to a pregnant future.
Give me my croci.
I want to make my tea purple.

About Cat Burglaries
This is a mission statement
About some known absurdities
I am calling for a placement
Of protection from cat burglaries!

This is not a victimless crime
As any cat owner will attest
Cat owners love their cats so much
When taken there should be an arrest!

What's that you say? Oh, I see that's
A problem of a different kind!
It's not actually about cats
Oh well, I guess then never mind!...

Raven's Bones
Waterlilies brighten black
ripples, reeds, and rocks below.
An even flow, bane and blight
recedes to bare raven’s bones.

A grave of darkness blanches
In austere light on bloodless
banks, but blue eyes cannot flood
its once watery coffin.

Dew on the waterlilies
reflect these absurdities -
the woeful bones glistening
alone near floral beauty.

A Singular Act of Splendor-Producing Makeup Application
A singular act of splendor-producing
makeup application at the tip of a brush
can awaken worlds that confound the imagination
and certainly confound all religious absurdities,
psychologies, and philosophies.

I choose a life that continuously confounds the absolute--
the absolute right
the absolute faith
the absolute belief
the absolute idea
the absolute definition--
by way of joy--
everyday, everywhere.
It's an absolute must!...

Time
Time.. Is it Ever On our side Or always Against us?
We seek time to live as we will, But it slips through our fingers like water.
Do we posesse It or are we Slaves to its Musings?
If time could stop, what would we do with the opportunity?
Would We Ascend to Godhood & benefit others Or would we waste the moment with our
personal wishes, Absurdities & trivialites?
The choices are innumerable, The possibilities Infinate,
What would you Do, which Do you Choose?...
