pretty or slippery are not my names
no time for docile dolly games
peaceful presence my authenticity aims
ascension not something timidly tame 
 
Chorus : shiver shake not, I have nothing to hide
flowing with life’s lovely tide

if you cannot bear scars and shadows 
go elsewhere to see what flavour marrows 
sure I hold open portal doors
when lightning

Gotta Shake This Blighter Out!

Snakes are crawling behind my eyes,
My tongue is forked in twine lines.
A bleeding alien rues across my skin,
I feel possessed, it's deep within.

My fingers crack as bones revolt,
Crawling through ashes in leaden vault.
The raging heart within me, is not my own.
It's a fake, an intruder, made of stone.

Where shadows don’t follow, they lead.
Where the air tastes like sorrow
and the silence presses like a loaded gun
against your temple at 3 a.m.

The dirt remembers me.
It groans where I nearly gave up,
where the weight of my own breath
felt like betrayal.

You want real?
Not

I can't shake the thought of you

I look up to the heavens
and recognize the telltale signs conspiring
to cast my thoughts on back to you ~
the marvelment of heart-shaped clouds
in the flush of day
and startlement of shooting stars
in the shade of night

I just realized
Energy in your beauty is one pack
Even though I forgot my breakfast

they make excellent overnight campsites for vagabond crawlers.
I once got bit by something (i suspect a spider)
on the long toe of my left foot.
It swelled -itched and throbbed on and off for three weeks
i was unemployed at the time and wasn't insured 
so, I self-remedied-mainly

Ancient grass must also shake
At some point in time.

Close your dream filled eyes
Quiet your anxious, loud mind
Run wild from the intrusive taunts
Fixating, gossiping over you in silent,
Yet understood tongue.

Let the lies of yourself fall through 
Unravel the programming stringing you along.
Step in surety, embrace the unknown
Befriend uncomfort - watch yourself grow.

We have a history
Maybe not in this lifetime
But in the last one

I did not look back
Because I was too stunned
Recognizing her instantly
Knowing we have a connection
