Waves ~
Waves
Glide in
On white wings,
Fleecy whitecaps
Flutter in rhythmic
Rhapsodies of seafoam
Swell across the naked sands
Hypnotic serpentines slow dance
Surges of rising tides bear spindrift
To sparkle like crystal frost in sunlight
Ebbing billows crescendo in withdrawal
As the shore clings to the waves caress
Tidal pulse bids the shore farewell
Leaving sandy signatures,
Lacy ripples of ebb,
Tidepools overflow
Driftwood harvest
Seaside gifts
New waves

Amongst the brambles of life there exists a sanctuary
both steadfast and silent
It is only when our days become unbearable that we
go searching for this tranquil inhalant.
Drifting into ourselves and away from the crowd,
we enter a forestry of peace and grace.
Here we can experience the solitude and respite of a therapeutic moment without trace ;
Inside the palindrome of our mirrored existence our reality needs a break sometimes.
Because of the agitation of this crazy world, we often rebuke the newsie serpentines and choose to believe in Angels instead.
The searching and seeking of peace is as natural to the soul
as the air we breathe. Lets perpetuate to peace, time and time again
and rest our weary heads once in a while.
For the journey is long and the road is treacherous my friend.
Don't allow anything or anyone to rob you of your God given peace.

The wind serpentines my hood against my cheek
the embers of my half smoked cig jettison
the greyed darkness in a flurry
brushing the collar and shoulder
to remove the silencing ash
shivering in the winds cold touch
the friction heat of my rubbing
hands offering little respite
and then the kiss of rainclouds
first born
Staring at a slowly fading facade
of an aquine moon
as the wind mounts its attack
on the whisping clouds

A private party I did throw for dignitary friends
I served wieners in a can with little toothpick jabs
It was Victor who did name me, inside his little lab
calling me his Frankenstein, as the name portends
When I sidestepped to and fro with a shuffle shoe
they roared like Leaders running out of hoo ba loo
they talked in circles rings and peels, "legal Time"
clawing at their mixes like greedy Serpentines
I joined the navy suits with ties as straight as God
self contained in secret, they never knew my crime
they called me awful names, a horrid selfish clod
but when my mask came off, all they did was nod
One by one I wooed them, with my monster talk
vigilant and bright at the caucus party romp
syrupy and cool with a gait upon my walk
I devoured everyone, including Donald Trump.

Plunged to terrain plagued, tasty female options
Surge of adrenalin pulses choices unsuitable
Piquant aroma pulls him closer, allure accosting
Sentient favours solacious flower so beautiful
Hurtled descent drops watchful onto hillock haze
Swayed seed laden willow heads have halos
Hedonistic impulse picks silken stems with craze
Seraphim surround a torn aura in dewy daos
Preordained mistake palates spasmed heartbeat
Shrews drawn to Stu allude to transformation
Prurient dripping pores warble wanton indiscreet
Strident serpentines permit desire incubation
Heathen has escape, wrapped parachute harness
Preparing his tortured innards for due launch
Hazards bring unbridled enthusiasm for newness
Pride hides a tarnished ego, attempts reforge

Gorgeous enormous super moon
With influence stronger then ever
Foamy waves at night will boom
Her pull upon water so clever
Stretching her arms out to caress
Stroking waves into intoxication
Her touch makes the water confess
Of its undying devoted appreciation
How she loves to tickle shorelines
With her magnetic pull of seduction
Flowing like that of the serpentines
As they kiss upon their introduction

Tears Of Serious
Two rivers of silver approach you at a time by crying
Taking on water in rain as they serpentine by around black rocks
And other fears that gather up about their banks
One silver moving wall of water is shallow in its depths
Remains nameless all the same, once again, then evaporates
Hides, mourning on the shore and then it is no more
The other moving liquid body flows by, goes by Serious
It turns in pain, winds around the landscape meanderings
Serpentines, absorbing rain and young children to its depths
No one knows why the river runs so long so deep
But there are tears in it originating from old faces
Forming on old mountains as they trickle down, cascading
Tears of Serious are created from many deaths
Now in her depths

Unlike the moon, I can’t change.
His crackle that creams the dark
is ageless, his disposition sort of staining, to some,
he serpentines, constantly breathing like the sea.
I don’t want to hear his old song
that grows to a piercing shriek
but I can’t let him go.
Drier than an empty womb,
I lay beneath him, the living fossil,
entranced by his chalk dance,
wishing he’d bleach my yellowness white.
He unhatches, stripping from his shell
and opening like a frosted bud.
He thought I was wasting my beauty,
so he took it entirely. His arsenic face haunts me,
his ancient teeth gaping at me in mirrors and lakes
and I let him infect my sight
knowing that I can and will, no must, let him go.

Venom of the serpentines
Runs in one’s fleshly blood streams
Deficiency of the spleen
Or blame all on a bad dream
Poisons do twist the mind’s seams
Illusions of children’s dreams
Images always of schemes
Listen to the children’s dreams
Skip a rope, soap a poor dope
Morality runs down slope
How long must human hearts cope
On the world’s slippery slope
Don’t upset the apple cart
So say they are all for it
Stand they all say for something
While all fall for anything
Plead I take up your own reigns/reins
The venom run in one’s veins!
Selah!

waterside vigil
buffalo nears water hole
lions crouch low nearby
three-pronged ambuscade
buffalo calf culled from herd
swift pincer attack
quarried prey springs forth
stressed calf serpentines about
lead lion cuts angle
driven toward snare
flanks assaulted from both sides
vise tightened prey clasped
