"I am not what happened to me,
I am what I choose to become."
Quote by _Carl Jung
Sometimes, in life I feel without,
lacking what I am all about;
where is my sense of self I sigh ...
Oh, who am I !
Useless with identity lost,
my uniqueness and selfdom tossed;
a death has left my life awry ...
Oh, who am I !
My existence is in question,
this spiral down my obsession;
must find my wings so I can fly ...
Oh, who am I !
I am so much less and a mess,
things are going wrong I confess;
must define and create or die ...
Oh, who am I !
My character is buried deep,
will find the best of it to keep;
I battle a pit of why try ...
Oh, who am I !
But like a flower am blooming,
a new self I am becoming;
gone away my sad lullaby ...
Oh, who am I !

Strange wind puffs like curses in the air
Fine maidens in a devious stare
Silent lip blows, bold but unsure
Like puppet minds played in obscure
Shady shadows lurking in the dark
Hearts steered by a shiny spark
For the light of amber is too hard to resist
Pristine selfdom is too seldom to exist
The title was inspired by a martial arts movie

I awake alert
full of mindfulness
aware of the need
to write and spill ink
sensitive to thoughts
no fulcrum plan
there is no key
and no magic
just a deep need
to pen words
honestly
sincerely
in black
succinct
ink
words
feelings
pouring
a reflex
an instinct
gift given
psyche engaged
selfdom ego
I love my ink
and words that pour
there is no blueprint
but spontaneous
fondness to just write
for I love inking
