I Love My Ink

 
I awake alert
full of mindfulness
aware of the need
to write and spill ink
sensitive to thoughts

no fulcrum plan
there is no key
and no magic
just a deep need

to pen words
honestly
sincerely

in black
succinct

ink

words

feelings
pouring

a reflex
an instinct
gift given

psyche engaged
selfdom ego
I love my ink
and words that pour

there is no blueprint
but spontaneous
fondness to just write
for I love inking
