The partition of India as per Indian Independence Act 1947, resulted in
the end of the British rule in the sub-continent. The two self-governing
countries, India and Pakistan, came into existence at midnight of 14-15,
August, 1947. Pandit Jawarharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India,
gave a visionary speech at that hour. The following poem is inspired by
that speech and uses some of its phrases taken from Wikipedia.
Many years ago, we made a tryst with destiny,
time has come now to redeem the vow credibly.
When the world sleeps at this hour of midnight,
India wakes up to freedom from the pitiful plight.
Before the advent of liberty we’ve suffered pain,
but past is gone, present calls us to a new domain.
We’ve the will to face the challenges that lie in store,
while great future before us is opening its door.

It happened in May, 1948
Israel declared itself a new-old state
In hours it came under fierce attack
From Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Iraq
The four Arab states told their kin in Israel
Leave your homes, come to us. Here's the deal:
In three weeks or less, we'll push the Jews into the Sea
Then you'll return to your homes in triumphant victory
But little Israel turned the Arab attackers away
So what did Egypt and Jordan do within days?
They fenced their 'Arab brothers' in squalid refugee camps
Then blamed Israel(!) for causing them their murderous plans to 'revamp'
This is what happened. Read about it in the media of that day
If so, why do so many people support the PA?* --
Because the Arabs have lied about the refugees for so many years
That the truth has become sullied and is no longer clear
History will show that Israel is not to blame
The onus is on the Arabs, along with the shame

The PA are the Palestinian Arabs. Alternatively PA is the Palestinian
Authority, the self-governing entity of President Mahmoud Abbas in
the Gaza Strip.
Which came first?
An individual ego-centered identity,
or Earth's self-governing ecosystemic awareness?
Is like asking
Which came first?
Egg
or chicken?
Each lies potentially co-arising
within the other,
chicken DNA programming
within the eggshell,
and egg-producing capacity
within the chicken
and not her rooster.
We could have no inside ego centering awareness
without Earth's ecosystemic resonant health
as resiliently wealthy
herstorically reproducing
history and herstory,
egocenters born win/win co-attached
with healthy EarthMothers
reproducing eggs
for individuating egos.
So,
when correct identity politics
is not also relationally interdependent
co-empowering economics,
then that would be
unsafe
unhealthy
supremacist
incorrect
undemocratic
negative elitist politics
Over-investing in today's wealthy chickens
by under-investing in tomorrow's healthy eggs.
Poets prehend self-governing structures
in natural ways that seem more enlightened
than pedants of partisan evolution.
Prophets predict self-help co-redemption
in ways that really could seem more enlightened
than preachers of competitive economics.
Time's wisdom con-sciences co-arising information
within polypaths comprehending light's full-tempered power
to mutually mentor multicultures of healing evolution,
conscientific body/mind-full consciousness,
cosmological
ecological
biological
geological
wealthy logical universal health care paradigm,
dispelling fractal-faceted semantic structures
of space/time's deep RNA-rememory language,
Folding concave holes
to unfold convex polarities again
through great turning revolutions
In which peace poets
and passionate preachers
and probing prophets
prehend Earth-governing structures
in naturally spirited ways
more enlightened
than polarizing pedants
of disempowering devolution.
I know
in soul
I am a poor wretch and banditte
without any moral codes and barriers and senses.
I am ended cretin and cynic.
I spat to all -
to ours or others, friends or enemies.
I have held in my hand
the nuclear bomb
and ruled firmly
by the great country,
where self-governing chicken community
frozen to death,
as the doctrines of cursed justice.
I spat to democracy, wisdom,
to human rights of men,
and what left there else?
Fair elections
and other values and social perfections?
I tramped them all,
that might to corrode my legitimacy.
I am bad boy
and know that never lose power.
Better the great country
will go to hell
together with honest sheep-like population
that so adored me
when I am spitting to West and East
then I am lost my favorite toy.
I am bad boy
and will be to stay forever
I spit to past, up-to-date
and to face of forthcoming day.
I am bad boy
but the national leader also.
Loyalty to the tribe
democracy's latest roller-coaster ride;
To glimpse another view
perhaps history provides a clue;
In 1701,after some bloody fights
English,Welsh & Scot once did unite;
Let three hundred years roll on & on
and reveal to us hindsight's lesson;
These tribes can safely separate
in self governing nation-states;
Apart,kingdoms within the greater EU
together,citizens of something new.
If I sat here and revealed
...revealed this truth...
...then shall you deny me...
for now you sit before me...
with concealed...fate
...only a mad man will attempt
an excuse...
...my breath held in abate...
...your heart full of torment...
...self appointed...
...self governing sorrow...
...the sun shall not rise
on your tomorrow...
...for you deny your spirit
freedom...caught in your...
mad mans mind...
forgiveness but a sole
glance away...
your tortured soul
...lost in time...
...this pride you speak...
has you yourself defined...
...the truth a request from
a trusted friend...
this loyalty shattered...
for this I condemn...
