Scrying Poems

Scrying

Crystal ball
I am waiting for the smoke to clear.
Once it does show me the Wood Brownie
Banquet hall.
Crystal ball
As I recall
The Queen of the Brownies was wearing a
Gorgeous outfit of sheer.
Crystal ball
I am waiting for the smoke to clear.

Scrying Eyes

You look through the scrying glass
See your life from a far away tower
Does it matter if you are top of class
Knowing what before you in this hour
Stuck with memories of pain in past
Doesn't mean your future in the past

Before you turn out tomorrow light
As tomorrow future is in your hand
Leave behind the bitter past tonight
Walk the chosen path you'll be grand
You'll be guided by your inner voice
The path you'll walk is your choice

Despite where I am being guided to
Know of events that have to come
Why in my heart is a feeling so blue
Yes I long for tomorrow yet to come
From things unknown I have no fear
Memories from the past i shed a tear

The Scrying Bowl

And it comes to me but in the mist of a shadow....this image I see, so profound, so mysterious....moving within the darkened forest....for it is there where many secrets are hidden and passages unseen by others.....

MIDNIGHT SCRYING
In the telling of the tea leaves
from the light of candle flame,
is the vision of the coming
of more ways to stay the same.

From the fragrance of more incense
and the taste of sacred wine,
is the knowing of the reason
God will never make you mine.

From the praying to the candle,
in the lighted crystal ball,
is a love forever turning
and the longing for it all.

In the praying for more reason
and the need to see the light,
are the words forever coming
from your dark and lonely plight.

After all your midnight praying
To the dead you hold so dear,
There's no more the feeling coming
Though the longest night is near.

In Scrying Pools (Triolet Sonnet)

Silently sat beneath moonlight
the air is sweet with jasmine's scent
I look into the waters of night.
Silently sat beneath moonlight
and there I see you in my sight
my lady hears my heart's lament
Silently sat beneath moonlight
the air is sweet with jasmine's scent.

In scrying pools my astral flight,
silently sat beneath moonlight,
she takes my hand as I recite
the words of love with heart's intent
Silently sat beneath moonlight
the air is sweet with jasmine's scent.
